Sainik School Admission 2022: Sainik School is one of India’s most popular institutions for military students. On September 27, 2021, the NTA announced the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2022 application form. Students can apply for admission to Sainik School 2022 online at aissee.nta.nic.in. Sainik School admission 2022 Class 6 is open to students aged 10 to 12 years. Students between the ages of 13 and 15 can apply for AISSEE entrance 2022 Class 9.

Sainik School Admission Official: Eligibility Criteria

Before filling up the AISSEE application form, candidates must check their Sainik School eligibility criteria. The Sainik School eligibility criteria for class 6 and class 9 admissions are listed below:

1. Students must be 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2022.
2. Students should have completed Class 5 from a recognised school.
3. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. The age criteria for the girls are similar to that of boys.

Sainik School Admission Eligibility Criteria For Class 9
1. Candidates must be 13 to 14 years as of March 31, 2022.
2. Candidates applying for Class 8 admissions must have completed Class 9 from a recognised school.

Sainik School Admission 2022-23: Application Form Correction Window 

Students are advised to apply before the Sainik School admission 2021-22 the last date expires in order to have time to do any rectifications. Candidates will be able to make corrections to any of the details submitted during the Application Process through the Sainik School correction window form. Candidates can also replace the documents which were already uploaded. The Sainik School correction window was open from November 7 to November 10, 2021, at the official website of AISSEE: aissee.nta.nic.in.

  2. Click on the button “Application Form Correction – AISSEE 2022-23”.
  3. Enter Application No, Password, Security Pin as displayed.
  4. Click on the “Sign In” button.
  5. If you have entered any incorrect details or uploaded the incorrect documents, make the necessary changes.
  6. Re-submit the AISSEE 2022-23 Application Form.

Sainik School Admission Process 2022-23

The National Testing Agency has declared the Sainik School Admission online application on September 27, 2021. Applicants must submit the application form before the last date, i.e., November 5, 2021. Students can find the Sainik School application forms on aissee.nta.nic.in. The Sainik School admission 2022-23 last date will be notified on this page once it is declared by the authorities concerned.
The students must fill out the application form and pay the application fee online. The steps to fill up the Sainik School admission form on the AISSEE portal, for admission to the military school are as follows:

  7. Process the application fee.
  8. Upload all the required documents such as Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, and Caste certificate.

Sainik School Admission 2022-23: Reservation Criteria

The Reservation Policy applies to Sainik School Admission 2021. The final selection will be made after considering these Sainik School admission reservation norms:

  1. A total of 15% of seats are reserved for SC candidates.
  2. 7.5% of seats are reserved for ST candidates.
  3. There is also reservation for home state students which is 67% seats
  4. 33% seats are reserved for students belonging to other states and union territories. Seats that are left unfilled in this category will be merged with seats of the home state.
  5. A total of 25% of seats are reserved for children of service personnel, including ex-servicemen.

Sainik School Selection Process 2022

The selection procedure for Sainik School admissions in 2022 consists of two primary stages: a written test and a medical exam. Students who complete the admission form are required to take a written exam. Following the announcement of the Sainik School admissions result for 2022, chosen candidates will be asked for a medical test.

The institutions publish the final merit list based on a student’s performance in both the written and medical tests taken together. After document verification, selected candidates will be admitted to their respective Class VI or IX.

In the event of a tie, the following factors are considered while producing the Sainik School merit list:

  1. In the event of a tie in overall marks between two applicants, the one who scored higher in Maths is chosen.
  2. If the tie remains, marks from the English and Intelligence Tests for classes IX and VI will be considered.
  3. If the tie remains unresolved, the results of the General Science paper in Class IX and the Language paper in Class VI will be examined.
  4. If there is still a tie, the candidate with the younger age will be given a seat.

Sainik School Result 2021-2022

NTA released the AISSEE 2022 written exam results on March 3, 2022. Students may view their Sainik School Result 2022 by entering their application form number and password. The medical test, which is the second stage of the Sainik School admissions process in 2022, will be held for those shortlisted. In April 2022, the final merit list of chosen candidates will be released. This merit list includes the candidates’ roll numbers and the document verification schedule.

  • Step 1: To check the AISSEE Results, go to the official website at aissee.nta.nic.in or click the link given here.
  • Step 2: Then, click on the link that reads “candidate login window”.
  • Step 3: Submit the application with the application number and password.
  • Step 4: On the dashboard, go to the fast links area and click on the link for the result.
