SBI CBO Selection Process 2025

The SBI CBO selection process consists of the following two stages:

• Online Exam
• Interview

The online exam consists of two parts. Part A is Objective in nature and Part B is Descriptive. Candidates qualifying in the online exam will be called for the Interview.

The SBI CBO Interview will be conducted for 100 marks. Candidates will have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the Interview to be considered for final selection. The final selection is based on the Interview score (out of 100). A state- and category-wise merit list will be drawn based on the Interview score. The final merit list will be prepared in descending order based on the scores obtained in the interview only.

Local Language

Candidates must have studied the local language as one of the subjects in Class 10 or 12. Candidates will have to produce the 10th & 12th Standard mark sheet/certificate as evidence that the candidate has studied the specific local language of the applied State.

The SBI CBO salary for selected candidates will be on the scale of Junior Management Grade Scale 1 (JMGS-1). The initial basic pay of SBI CBO is Rs.36,000 plus two advance increments for candidates with work experience of two years or more in the officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank. Furthermore, the pay scale for SBI CBO is Rs. 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840.
