Both the Computer Skill Test and Stenographer Test are qualifying in nature. Computer Skill Test comprises 50 marks. Whereas Stenography test is conducted for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi and transcription of the same on the computer for one hour. Marks obtained in Computer Skill Test & Stenography Test will not be taken into consideration for merit ranking.
Marking scheme for UDC- Phase I (Prelims)
Phase I of Upper Division Clerk is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in this phase will not be considered for final merit. One-fourth of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Applicants will be shortlisted for Phase II in the ratio of 1:10.
Marking scheme for UDC- Phase II (Mains)
Marks secured in Phase II will be taken into consideration for the final selection. One-fourth of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
