The written exam has the highest weightage and the second stage of the selection process has only 10 per cent weightage in the selection process. HSSC Clerk Selection Stage 1: Written Exam

The first stage of the selection process is the written exam. This stage will have a weightage of 90 per cent in the final merit list, and the exam will be objective type. The section-wise weightage of the written exam is given below:

  • There will be a total of 90 questions asked, and the total duration to answer these questions will be 90 minutes.
  • For each right attempt, candidates will be awarded 1 mark.

HSSC Clerk Selection Stage 2: Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience

Candidates who clear the written exam will become eligible for the socio-economic criteria and experience. This stage has a total of 10 marks, and candidates will be awarded marks according to their socio-economic condition. Also, the conducting body will give a minimum of 0.5 marks to candidates who have prior experience in the Haryana government posts. The experience marks can go on till 8 marks.
