Indian Navy MR Salary 2023

Indian Navy has released the Indian Navy MR notification along with the vacancy and salary details on the official website, i.e. joinindiannavy.gov.in. A total of 100 vacancies are available, out of which 20 vacancies are for female candidates. During the initial stage, MRs will receive a stipend of Rs 21,000/- per month. Once candidates complete their tenure of 4 years, they will receive the Seva Nidhi package, under which 5.02 Lakhs will be offered to candidates.

Indian Navy MR Salary Slip

After every payment cycle, candidates will receive a previous month’s salary slip. The pay slip will provide all data, including information on allowance and deductions. Candidates can refer to the below data to know more details on the Indian Navy MR pay slip:

  • In-Hand Salary: During the tenure of an Indian Navy MR, candidates will receive an in-hand salary of INR 21,000 – 28,000/-.
  • Military Service Pay: The MSP is used as basic pay when calculating DA and pension. However, MSP is not considered for Composite Transfer Grant (CTG), House Rent Allowances (HRA), and Annual Increments.
  • House Rent Allowances: After 7th Pay Commission, candidates gain access to House Rent Allowances based on their posting to cope with the high living. This allowance is determined based on the employee’s assigned designation.
