LIC AAO Prelims Vacancy 2023: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) conducts recruitment drive to invite applications from eligible Indian citizens to appoint personnel to the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist) (AAO). LIC AAO Prelims Category-wise Vacancy 2023

LIC has declared total 300 vacancies for the year 2023. It will also fulfill the backlog vacancies for pervious years.  The total number of vacancies and the reserved vacancies are provisional and may vary according to the actual requirements of LIC. The LIC AAO category-wise vacancy 2023 for Unreserved category, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities shall be as under:

SC: Scheduled Caste; ST: Scheduled Tribe; OBC: Other Backward Classes; EWS: Economically Weaker Section; UR: Unreserved; PwBD: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities; LD: Locomotor disability; VI: Visual Impairment; HI: Hearing Impairment; ID: Intellectual disability; MD: Multiple Disability.

LIC AAO Salary Structure 2023

The salary structure of an Assistant Administrative Officer in LIC is given in the official notification. The basic pay of LIC AAO is Rs. 53600/- per month. The payscale is Rs. 53600- 2645(14) –90630– 2865(4) –102090. AAO will also enjoy other admissible allowances as per the government rules. The total monthly salary is inclusive of city compensatory allowance, house rent allowance, etc., wherever admissible.

The HRA, CCA depend upon the classification of the city. Other benefits are NPS, gratuity, LFC/LTC, medical expenses reimbursement, group mediclaim, Group Insurance , vehicle loan as per rules, reimbursement of cost of Brief case/leather bags, mobile handset, mobile bill reimbursement, etc. as per rules.  

Eligibility Criteria To Apply for LIC AAO 2023

Aspirants who wish to apply for the post of LIC AAO should meet all the eligibility criteria to be considered for the post. If at any stage of the recruitment process it is found that the candidate is not eligible for the post, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. • Applicants must be minimum 21 years of age (completed) and maximum 30 years of age, as per the dates specified in the notification.

• Educational Qualification for AAO (Generalist): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
