NICL  2021 – The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) will release the notification and application form for various posts in online mode.  The NICL application form will be available on the official website for all the posts. The eligibility requirements are based on age and educational qualification. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria as per the prescribed posts will be eligible to register for the NICL 2021. For some posts, the authorities will conduct the selection procedure in three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Personal Interview whereas for some posts, only interviews will be held.
The entrance exam will be held in online mode in various cities of India. Candidates qualifying in all three stages will be recruited to the various posts. What is National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL)?

The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) exam is held in three stages to shortlist candidates for the various posts. Some of the posts are Administrative Officers (Generalists) Scale I, Actuarial Apprentices, Accounts Apprentices, Agriculture Apprentices, etc. Selected candidates in the entrance test will be posted in the head office of National Insurance Company Ltd.

NICL 2021 Eligibility Criteria 

The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) prescribes the eligibility requirements along with the notification. Candidates who wish to apply and appear for the entrance test must fulfil the below-mentioned post-wise The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) eligibility criteria. The authorities prescribe the eligibility criteria of NICL based on the following requirements – nationality, age and educational qualification.

NICL Eligibility Criteria – Nationality 

Candidates must be a citizen of India, or Nepal, or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to settle permanently in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of

Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided the candidate must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

NICL Eligibility Criteria – Administrative Officers (Generalists) Scale I

Age Limit – Candidates applying for NICL Administrative Officers (Generalists) Scale I must be between 21 to 30 years of age. Also, candidates belonging to the reserved category will be given upper age relaxation. Check below the table –

Educational Qualification – 

  1. Only those candidates who have completed and qualified in their graduation or post-graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government will be eligible. 
  2. Also, they must obtain a minimum of 60% marks whereas those belonging to SC/ST category will have to secure at least 55% marks. 

NICL Eligibility Criteria – Actuarial Apprentices

Age – Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age. Also, candidates belonging to the reserved category will be given upper age relaxation. 

Educational Qualification – 

  1. Candidates who have completed and qualified in their graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government will be eligible. 
  2. And they should have passed or have been exempted from at least 5 actuarial exams conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
  3. Also, they must obtain a minimum of 60% marks whereas those belonging to SC/ST category will have to secure at least 55% marks. 

NICL 2021 Registration Form 

The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) will release the application form NICL 2021 in online and offline mode. Candidates will have to visit the official website of NICL. Before filling up the online form of National Insurance Company Ltd., they are advised to check the eligibility criteria in order to avoid rejections at a later stage.  

Also, candidates must keep the following documents ready with themselves before filling up the NICL offline and online form – 

  1. Scanned images of photograph and signature
  2. Class 10th, 12th, graduation, and post-graduation mark sheet
  3. Bank account details to pay online application fees

NICL Online Form – 

In order to fill-up the online registration form of National Insurance Company Ltd., candidates will have to follow these steps – 

1st Step – They will have to visit the official website of National Insurance Company Ltd.(NICL).
2nd Step – The new page will appear on the screen.
3rd Step – Now click on apply online.
4th Step – Enter the personal information – name, date of birth, mobile number, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, category, address, permanent address, and educational qualification including class  10th, 12th and graduation, and other courses, if any.
5th Step – After filling in the online form, candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications by the commission.
6th Step – After uploading the photograph and signature, they will have to pay the examination fees.
7th Step – After payment of fees, candidates must submit their form.

The application fees of NICL can be paid through Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card. After completing all the above-mentioned steps, candidates are advised to take a printout of the National Insurance Company Ltd.

NICL Offline Form – 

In order to apply offline for some of the posts, candidates must visit the recruitment section of the website of National Insurance Co. Ltd. They must go through the advertisement and ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria.
After that, they must download the NICL application form, fill all the details in the file, paste the photograph and sign it as per the specification and send the application to the following address –

NICL 2021 Hall Ticket 

The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) will issue the admit card of the National Insurance Company Ltd.(NICL) prelims exam in online mode.  Only those candidates who have successfully submitted the application forms will be able to download the National Insurance Company Ltd.(NICL) hall ticket. The authorities will release the admit card separately for all three stages – prelims, mains, and interview. 

The NICL hall ticket will be available only on the official website. Candidates can download the hall ticket of National Insurance Company Ltd.(NICL) 2021 by using the required credentials – registration ID and password in the login window till the date of the exam. The hall ticket for the exam will have information about the exam venue, date and time of the exam, address of the exam centre along with other information like the name of the candidate, application number and photograph and signature, and exam day instructions.  

While going to the exam centres, candidates will also have to carry any one of the following photo identity cards – PAN Card,  Driving License, Aadhaar Card or Passport along with the National Insurance Company Ltd.(NICL) admit card. Without carrying the above-mentioned documents, they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

NICL 2021 Marking Scheme 

As per the exam pattern of the National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL), there will be a penalty for wrong answers. For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks will be deducted. In case any question is left blank, there will be no penalty for that question.

NICL 2021 Selection Procedure 

Candidates can check below the post-wise selection procedure of the National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) – 

Administrative Officers (Generalists) Scale I – The authorities will conduct the following stages – Preliminary, Mains and Interview. Candidates shortlisted in the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the mains exams. However, the marks secured in the prelims exam will not be added in the final merit list. The number of candidates to be shortlisted for the mains examination will be 15 t times the number of candidates to be recruited for the post of Administrative Officers. Candidates qualifying in the mains exam will have to appear for an interview.  The final selection will be based on the marks secured in the mains and interview stages. 

Actuarial Apprentices –  All eligible candidates will have to appear for the Personal Interview. Their selection will be based on their performance in the same. The qualifying marks in the Personal Interview will be decided by the authorities. The information regarding NICL Personal Interview will be informed to the candidates through the official website or the registered email ID in due course.
The final selection of candidates will be subject to the medical examination. Postings of selected candidates will be at Head Office, Kolkata. 

NICL 2021 Answer Key 

The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) might release the answer key of the National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) after the conduction of the exam on the official website. NICL 2021 answer key will have all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. Also, in case of any mistakes, candidates can raise objections by submitting an application along with an explanation of the correct answer. The candidates will also have to pay the prescribed fees per question.
The exam conducting will evaluate the objections raised by the candidates. After that, they will release the final NICL answer key.  On the basis of the final answer key, the result for the exam will be declared.

NICL 2021 Result 

The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) will announce the result of the National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) for different posts in online mode separately for all the stages. The result will be available on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) result by using the required credentials – registration number in the provided login window. Also, the result of TNPSC Group 2 will not be sent via post or any other medium. The NICL result will be available in the form of pdf. 

The authorities will declare the final National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) AO result based on the marks obtained in the mains exam and interview. The result pdf will contain the name, category, gender, and rank of the candidates.

After the declaration of the NICL result, the exam conducting body will also release the scorecard of the exam. Candidates will be able to download the  National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) scorecard by using their form number and date of birth. 

NICL 2021 Cutoff 

The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) will release the cut off for the National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) for different posts for the candidates who appeared in the exam.
