NIOS Exam Fees: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) exam fee payment window for April 2022 exam was closed on January 31, 2022. As per the official notification, the NIOS Examination fees for Class 10 & 12 is ₹250 per subject for theory. For the practical exam, the NIOS Exam Fee is ₹120 per subject for the 10th and 12th classes. The last date for NIOS exam fees for Class 10 and 12 October 2022 was June 30, 2022.
In this article, students can read about the detailed NIOS exam fee structure for Class 10 & 12 (public exam), exam fee for On-Demand Examination, and Stream 1, 2, 3 & 4. The NIOS fee payment for the exam can be made on the official website of NIOS at sdmis.nios.ac.in.
Here are some important dates regarding the NIOS April Exam 2022:

Students who are going to appear for October 2022 exams need to be aware of the required examination fees. It is advised to make NIOS exam fees payment in the stipulated time. Please note that the official dates for NIOS fee payment are yet to be announced by the officials. We have provided the tentative dates in the table below:

The normal exam fee without late fee is Rs 250 per subject for the theory exam and Rs 120 per subject for the practical exam. If any student fails to pay the exam fee before the last date then, in addition, they will have to pay the late fee as mentioned below. For both Secondary Level and Senior Secondary Levels, the NIOS exam fee for On-Demand Examination is Rs 500 per subject plus Rs 200 for per practical subject.

Students can pay their NIOS exam fees for the year 2022 online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Please note that NIOS exam fees for October-November 2022 because they cannot be returned or altered once they have been paid. To pay the NIOS examination fee in 2022 without making any mistakes, follow the steps below:
When students or parents are ready to pay the NIOS exam fee, they should keep some points to successfully pay the fees:
(i) The fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. So, always make sure you are doing everything correctly. Check the filled in details carefully.
(ii) NIOS accepts exam fees in online mode only. Never pay any money to unauthorised officials or through offline mode.
(iii) Make sure that you have a good internet speed to eliminate the risk of payment failure.
(iv) Take a printout of the payment slip that you will get after successful payment. This will work as proof of your payment which can be shown as and when asked by any officials.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducts the public exams twice a year: once in April-May and then again in October-November. Candidates can also opt for On-Demand Examination at the Secondary or Senior Secondary level.
