Important Notes Regarding RRB NTPC Exam Pattern:

  1. The exam will be conducted in online mode only.
  2. The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
  3. For the PwBD candidates, the exam duration is 120 minutes.
  4. Only MCQ questions will be asked in the examination and each question will have 4 options.
  5. For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.

Candidates must meet the cutoff specified by the officials in order to qualify in further stages of the examination. The Category wise RRB NTPC Paramedical Staff cut off is tabulated below:

  4. Death Certificate of the husband in case of widow and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried
  5. Decree of divorce/judicial separation from the competent Court of Law as applicable and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried
  6. Diploma / Degree / Experience Certificate with Semester wise Mark Sheets (As applicable)
  7. Gazette notification and/or any Legal document in case of formal change of name
  8. Income & Asset certificate for Economically Weaker Section + Income Certificate for Waiving Examination Fee for Economically Backward Classes
  9. J & K domicile certificate (if applicable)
  10. Matriculation/X Class/High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate as Proof for Date of Birth. (The candidates’ name and the father/ mothers’ name mentioned in the application will be verified with reference to the names mentioned in this certificate.)
  11. Medical Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
  12. Minority Community declaration on Non – Judicial Stamp Paper
  13. No Objection Certificate from Serving Defence Personnel with the probable date of discharge.
  14. No Objection Certificate from serving employees with the date of appointment
  15. OBC-NCL certificate (not older than one year from the date of DV) + Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates.
  16. Original discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen + Self-declaration for Ex-servicemen
  17. Receipt of payment if made through a Challan at SBI branch or Pay-in-slip at computerized Post Office.
  18. Self Certification by the Transgender candidates
