• The exams will start on March 3, 2023, March 20, 2023.
• SEBA HSLC exams will be conducted in two shifts, i.e., the morning (9 am to 12 pm) and the afternoon shift (1.30 pm to 4.30 pm). 

The Board had started Assam HSLC registration 2023 from November 15, 2022. The last date to complete the SEBA HSLC registration was December 15, 2022. Usually, the school authorities complete the registration process for students and without it, no student will be eligible to appear for the exam. The school can log in to the website using their user id and password and fill out the details for the students. Students only have to pay the registration fees to the school authorities.

Knowing the exam pattern gives students an insight into the exam layout, types of questions, and difficulty level of the exam. This helps them prepare for the exam better and be more confident about it. The Assam HSLC question paper will be of 90 marks, with 10 marks awarded for assignments or internal assessments. 

50% or 45 questions, will be objective type, worth one mark each. The remaining 45 questions will be a mix of 2 and 3 marks. The previous format of having long answers for 4-5 marks is dismissed. This modification is made to assist students in achieving higher grades.

Students who want to pursue BTech/BArch/B. Planning programmes in prestigious schools begin studying for this exam after passing Class 10 because they have a large syllabus to cover. 
• JEE Advanced: Students who pass the JEE (Main) exam are then eligible to take the JEE (Advanced) exam. The Joint Entrance Examination for admission to one of the IITs is now in its second round. Students who choose science streams (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in class 10 prepare for both JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) at the same time.
• NEET: The National Eligibility Cumulation Entrance Test, or NEET, is a national-level entrance exam for admission to MBBS/BDS programmes.
