VITEEE 2022: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, will conduct the VIT engineering entrance examinations or VITEEE 2022 on June 17 to June 25, 2022. Earlier, the institution had scheduled the examinations from June 30 to July 6, 2022. The application forms for the exam were released on the official website of VIT on December 02, 2021.
Candidates will be able to submit their application forms until May 30, 2022. The officials will soon notify the dates for the release of VITEEE hall tickets. The admit cards will be generated after candidates have selected their preferred slots for the VITEEE exam. Candidates must carry a printout of the VITEEE admit card to the exam hall. VITEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The exam conducting body prescribes the VITEEE eligibility criteria. The candidates need to check the VITEEE 2022 eligibility criteria to avoid any rejection at any later stage. The eligibility criteria include requirements based on nationality, age, and educational qualification.
Nationality
- Candidates who are Resident/Non-Resident Indian National/PIO can apply for VITEEE 2022.
- Those who are studying abroad can apply through the foreign category. For such candidates, a separate application form has been made available.
Age Limit
Candidates, who have been born on or after 1st July 2000, can apply for VITEEE 2022. Also, the authorities will only consider the date of birth mentioned in the Class 10th/SSC/High School Certificate. Candidates are required to produce original documents during the counselling and admission process. If the candidate is unable to prove his/her date of birth through any original documentation, the application of the candidate will be disqualified.
Educational Qualification
Candidates who have appeared/appearing in 10+2/HSC with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics/ Biology with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks are eligible for VITEEE 2022. Candidates who belong to Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, North Eastern states, and SC/ ST categories should secure a minimum of 45%.
- Also, candidates who have opted for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE are eligible for all the B.Tech. programmes.
- Those who have opted for Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, Aptitude (BPCEA) in VITEEE are eligible for Bio stream programs only.

Candidates must pay the fee via Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking. The application fee is non-refundable.
VITEEE 2022 Admit Card
VITEEE 2022 admit card will be released on the official website soon after candidates have booked their slots for the test. The authorities will soon announce the date of release of the admit card. Candidates who submitted their application form on or before the deadline can download their admit card using the login credentials.
VITEEE 2022 Cut-off
The VITEEE cut-off score is the minimum criteria required by the candidates to be considered for admission to the various campuses of VIT. For the year 2022-23, VIT will also accept JEE Main scores for admission. The minimum VITEEE score and JEE Main score required for admission will be released during counselling.
The university decides the cut-off score for admission and further screening. The cut-off scores are decided based on several factors, such as the number of available seats, the number of candidates appearing for VITEEE 2022 counselling, and a few other factors.
VITEEE Counselling 2022
The counselling process of VITEEE will start after the VITEEE 2022 result tentatively on July 8, 2022. The officials will review all the applications submitted by the aspirants. They will then set minimum criteria after which the candidates who get shortlisted will be eligible to go for the counselling process organised by the institution.
All the shortlisted candidates must be physically present at the time of counselling, or seats will be allocated to other candidates. While going for counselling rounds, candidates will also have to carry the original copies of the following documents for verification:
