Founded by Padma Bhushan Dr Shiv Nadar in 1996, Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering in Chennai is an autonomous college affiliated with Anna University. This engineering college was established in 1951 by G.R. Damodaran. It was ranked 49th among the top engineering colleges in India in 2020 by the NIRF and 85th overall. It was also ranked 46th in the management ranking by NIRF itself. As per the NIRF 2022 ranking, it stands at number 57.
