The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)New Delhi conducted AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017 on May 28, 2017.
AIIMS is considered to be the most acclaimed and quite legendary medical institute and hospital in India. It is a doorway to the ever-evolving field of medicine, new discoveries, advancements in treatment mechanisms for many medical aspirants. AIIMS gives admission to their students through their own entrance test. Regardless to say, the preparation of the national level exam demands soulful dedication, extreme level of perseverance and hard work from each aspirant for a successful survival in the cut-throat competition.The registration of the application process for AIIMS MBBS 2018 for eligible aspirants will most likely start from January 2018 and the closing date of the application forms will be sometime in February 2018.
The total number of MBBS seats has now increased to 707 from 700, with the 7 additional seats going to foreign nationals at AIIMS New Delhi. The remaining 700 seats will be distributed among the 7 AIIMS.

AIIMS Application form 2017
AIIMS application forms are out and you can find it on their official site. Students are requested to fill and submit their application form at the earliest at www.aiimsexams.org. Students can apply only through online mode. It is of high importance that you have your documents hand with you. Read on to find all the information about AIIMS application form.
Guidelines for filling the form:
A candidate seeking admission to the Entrance Examination is required to fill up the Registration Form available Online with the Prospectus on www.aiimsexams.org. Candidate should fill in the online Application Form without leaving any column blank.
ONLINE REGISTRATION & SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:
After selecting the online registration, fill the details asked for deposit the prescribed fee through Debit/Credit cards/Net Banking and till all details required in the Application Form.
It will be the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that correct address, mobile number and E-mail address in the Application Form is filled.
Incomplete Application/Registration Slip will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be entertained. No candidates should register more than one application.
All applicants are required to ensure that Photo/Thumb/Signature are uploaded according to the
size and format given in the Prospectus. Failure to do so may result in rejection of applications.
Duplicate applications from any applicant will result in cancellation of all such applications. No intimation regarding such summary rejections will be provided.
PROCESS FOR CHECKING OF STATUS OF PHOTO/THUMB/SIGNATURE STATUS OF REGISTRATION SLIPS RECEIVED:
Acknowledgement with regard to successful Online Registration will be forwarded to registered email ID of the applicants.
The status of Admit Card will be available on AIIMS, New Delhi website www.aiimsexams.org from 1st May, 2017.
Candidates are advised to check position regarding status of Application form on the website If the status of Admit Card is not available on website, he/she should immediately contact to the Asstt. Controller Examinations, AIIMS, New Delhi-110 608 along with full particulars of the Registration of application form by sending an email on email@example.com
Here’s a step to step guide for applying online for AIIMS Entrance exam 2017:
- Should have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2017
- Should have passed or have appeared for 12th grade exams from CBSE, I.Sc boards or from an equivalent board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as a subject.
- The minimum aggregate of marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English should not be less than 60% for General & OBC category and 50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates.
AIIMS Marking Scheme/Pattern
- Each right answer will fetch you 1 mark
- Each incorrect marks would lead to a negative 1/3 marks
- No marks for questions left unanswered
3.5 hours would be given to the students to attempt the paper.

Preparation tips for AIIMS:
AIIMS 2017 results was declared on June 15, 2017.
A downloadable Admit Card will be hosted for all the eligible candidates on website
www.aiimsexams.org w.e.f. 1st May, 2017. All the candidates must take a printout of the same. The admit card will not be sent through Postal System. No candidate will be admitted to the examination unless he/she holds a valid Admit Card.
(a) Candidate will be NOT be allowed to enter the Examination Hall without a valid Admit Card in original. The admit card must bear the details of printout such as IP address etc.
(b) Candidates are advised to preserve the Admit Card till allotment of seat in College/ Institute. Duplicate Admit Card will not be issued after the examination (i.e. original printout Not photocopy etc.).
