To pursue Medical in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Aligarh, you must clear the NEET exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET entrance exam for the MBBS and BDS programmes for Indian MBBS and BDS colleges. It is the only medical entrance exam through which candidates can get into any medical or dental institute in India.

AMU MBBS/BDS admission will determine the allocation of 150 MBBS and 40 BDS seats. Candidates will be admitted to the AMU MBBS programme in 2025 based on their NEET 2025 exam scores. You must fill in your personal, academic, and NEET 2025 information during registration. For AMU NEET 2025 admission, you must submit your course and college preferences. AMU NEET 2025 counselling for all available MBBS and BDS seats will be administered by MCC.
Candidates who meet the NEET exam requirements can sit for the AMU MBBS exam at AMU. The general candidates need a minimum of 50%, while SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 40% to sit for the AMU AT medical exam.
There will also be a medical fitness examination administered by the AMU. Candidates performing well on this exam may be admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Aligarh.
The questions in the medical entrance examination will be separated into Sections A and B following the NEET 2025 exam format. There will be 15 questions in Section B and 35 questions in Section A. Candidates must respond to 10 of these 15 questions in Section B. As part of their study plan, medical students planning to enrol in MBBS, BDS, or other medical programmes must familiarise themselves with the NEET UG 2025 exam pattern.
