Assam PG Medical 2020 Merit List
The provisional merit list of Assam PG admission 2020 has been already released by Directorate of Medical Education (DME) on March 15, 2020. A revised merit list was updated on April 23, which was considered for the choice filling round. Merit list was prepared by DME based on the performance of candidates in NEET PG 2020. Candidates with their names in the merit list were invited to participate in the seat allotment process. The provisional merit list of Assam PG 2020 Admission includes candidates roll numbers, names of the candidates, categories, scores out of 1200, and NEET PG 2020 Rank. Candidates, please note that the inclusion of candidates’ names in the merit list does not guarantee admission.
The application form for Assam PG Medical Seat allotment is no more available. Candidates who wish to grab a seat have to fill the application form before March 23, 2020. Candidates were asked to enter details like personal, contact and academic details, etc. The application form was supposed to be submitted via offline mode. The application form fee was 100 rupees.
Candidates were supposed to attach a few documents with the application form while submitting it offline. The application form of Assam PG Counselling 2020 could not be accepted if he/she failed to bring any of these documents.

Assam PG Medical Seat Allotment Process Explained
Seat allotment is the last stage where an eligible candidate gets his preferred seats. Only those candidates who have their names in the merit list and has participated in the counselling session was allotted seats by the authorities of Directorate of Medical Education (DME). The complete process of seat allotment was conducted via online mode. As stated in the official notification, there will be three rounds of counselling including a mop-up round in case seats remain vacant.
The first round of counselling was conducted from April 30 to May 02. Second round is expected to be held in the last week of May 2020. Candidates will be asked to fill their choices for courses and colleges. Based on the performance of candidates in NEET 2020 PG, choices filled, and other factors, seats will be allotted to candidates. During admission candidates will need to deposit Assam PG Medical Admission fees of approx INR 30,000.

- Admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma seats in private universities will be based on NEET PG Scores
- Counselling for Deemed/Central Universities will be held by DGHS n behalf of MCC
- For 50% All India Quota Seats MCC will conduct counselling
- For rest 50% State Quota Seats DME will conduct counselling
