BSCB Assistant Main Exam Pattern

To appear for the BSCB Assistant mains examination, candidates must first clear the preliminary exam. The following are the parameters of the BSCB Assistant prelim exam:

  • The preliminary exam is of 100 marks, consisting of 100 questions. 
  • Candidates will get an hour, i.e., 60 minutes, to complete the examination. 
  • The exam will consist of 3 subjects, i.e., English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. 
  • For every correct answer, candidates will be allotted 1 mark.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
