The Recruitment of Bihar Police Constable consists of five steps. Candidates have to pass each stage to get appear for the next steps and complete the recruitment process. The exam pattern the physical standard and test is based on the notification released by the Bihar Police. The Bihar Police SI Selection process consists of the following test held in the given order.

Bihar Police SI written examination is divided into two different phases i.e. prelims and mains. The preliminary examination of Bihar Police SI is conducted for a time duration of 2 hours which includes a negative marking of 0.2 marks.
Stage I: Prelims

Candidates obtaining marks less than 30% will not be eligible to appear in the mains examination. Total candidates appearing for the examination will be selected 20 times of the vacancies for the next phase of selection.
Stage II: Mains
The mains examination is the second phase of selection, which is required to be completed within 2 hours of time duration. The exam pattern of the same is as follows:
