BPSC Notification 2022: Check Exam Dates & Vacancy

BPSC Notification 2022: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the revised BPSC 67th Preliminary exam date notification on February 1, 2022, at bpsc.bih.nic.in. The revised date for the BPSC CCE Prelims examination is April 30, 2022. previously the exam was scheduled for January 23, 2022. The conducting body has also released the revised exam dates for Advt No. 01/2019, 02/2019, 03/2019, and 04/2019 on its official website. The exam of Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil) will be conducted on March 12, 13, 26 & 27, 2022. Previously, it was announced to be conducted in September 2021.

BPSC Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility conditions before filling in the application form. Ineligible applicants will get their candidature rejected. Space below mentions the eligibility conditions to be fulfilled by the aspirants.

Physical Eligibility Criteria

  1. Height – Candidates applying for Bihar Police Service/ District Commandant should have the following height as per their category: General Male – 5 feet 5 inches, Reserved Male – 5 feet 3 inches, All Female – 5 feet 2 inches
  2. Chest – Candidates applying for Bihar Police Service/ District Commandant should have the following chest size as per their category: General Male – 32 inches, Reserved Male – 31 inches

BPSC Application Process

Candidates can fill in BPSC application form in an online mode as per the schedule. BPSC Has released the APO Main application form on its official website. The BPSC notification has also mentioned the schedule and the detailed process to submit the online application form. Space below mentions the stepwise procedure to apply for the BPSC APO Main exam 2021.

1st Step – Visit the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission bpsc.bih.nic.in

2nd Step – Click on the tab stating ‘Apply Online’ from the sidebar

3rd Step – Candidates will face a redirection to the online BPSC portal

NOTE – Alternatively, candidates can skip the above-mentioned steps and visit the online BPSC portal @ onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.

4th Step – Candidates will find the list of active recruitments. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab against the BPSC CCE 67th notification

5th Step – Enter the personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID, mobile number and more.

6th Step – Candidates will receive an email comprising the User Name and Password required to enter the login dashboard. Login using the credentials at the online BPSC portal

7th Step – Click on the application fee payment button and pay the prescribed fee as per the category

8th Step – Enter details in the application form including academic details, and communication details

9th Step – Upload photograph and signature in the prescribed format

10th Step – Pay application fee before the last date

Image Specifications

Candidates need to upload the photograph and signature using the following specifications:

  1. Image size (signature) – 15 KB to 25 KB
  2. Image Format – JPEG/ JPG

NOTE – Only those candidates who have cleared the preliminary exam can apply for the BPSC APO Main exam. Candidates are required to pay the application fee for the main examination separately.

BPSC APO Main Exam Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee to register for the BPSC APO 2021. Failing to pay the application fee will mark the application incomplete, which further leads to debarring the candidate from the recruitment process. BPSC Admit Card

The candidates will receive their BPSC Assistant Engineer/APO Admit Card 2021 prior to the written test. The admit card is a necessary document to get access to the examination hall. Bihar Public Service Commission will release the official answer key on its official website. In the BPSC answer key, the solutions to those questions which came in the examination will be mentioned in the PDF. Via the BPSC answer key, candidates can evaluate their expected result before the result declaration and calculate their chances to get shortlisted for the next round. The conducting body releases the answer key only on its website. The solution key will be available a few days after the exam date.

BPSC Final Merit List

Candidates qualifying preliminary and mains examination are eligible to appear for the interview round. The score of candidates in the interview and the main examination will be considered for the final merit preparation. The interview round will fetch a total of 120 marks. BPSC will release the cutoff to select the candidates based on the final merit list.
