CBSE Board Class 6 Exam Pattern 2023: The Central Board of School Education, CBSE provides the guidelines for administering the CBSE Class 6 exams to the schools affiliated with it. CBSE Class 6 exam is not a board exam and thus it is conducted at the school level by adhering to the guidelines set by the board. The CBSE Class 6 curriculum requires students to study Mathematics, Science, and Social Science with two language subjects – English and a regional language of their choice. According to the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation, students will be evaluated on mainly two levels – Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment.
The Formative Assessment accounts for 40% of the total marks, while the Summative Assessment accounts for 60% of the total marks. Different schools conduct the assessments in different schedules and at the discretion of the school authorities.
