CBSE Class 6 Hindi syllabus has three NCERT books prescribed in the curriculum. These are Vasant, Durva, and Bal Ram Katha. Students are introduced to the book of Bal Ram Katha, which is a supplementary reader for Class 6. Paragraphs from Bal Ram Katha are used in Reading Comprehension questions and help in enhancing the reading capability of students.
