CBSE Class 9 2021-22: One of the most important classes in a student’s learning journey is Class 9. CBSE Class 9 Eligibility Criteria
Students can check the CBSE-prescribed eligibility criteria on the official CBSE website. The same criteria have also been mentioned below for your ease. Students should check their eligibility in advance since the Board can cancel a student’s candidature if they do not meet the criteria. - They should have passed their Class 8 examinations.

Special Scheme of Assessment for CBSE Class 9 Exam 2021
CBSE has released a special scheme of assessment for the academic session 2021-22. All schools have to follow the same and conduct the examinations accordingly. Students can check the special scheme below:
- The board has divided the academic session into two terms, i.e., Term I and Term II with approximately 50% syllabus in each.
- CBSE has released a rationalised syllabus and the same has to be followed by the schools.
- As per the guidelines and moderation policy, the internal assessments/practicals/project work are now more credible and valid.
- The internal assessment consists of three periodic tests. In addition, it also consists of student enrichment, portfolio, and practical work/ speaking listening activities/project work.
- Schools have to create a student profile for all the assessments taken throughout the year and retain the evidence in digital format.
