CBSE students demand a retest for Maths

img-icon

After an extremely difficult math paper, students are demanding a retest. According to a national daily, students were in a rude shock over the difficult questions which the exam paper carried. Most students replied that it would be difficult to score above 90.

The paper was not only difficult but also lengthy. A Humanities student called Muskan from Jaipur said that for someone who’s used to writing long papers, even she found the math paper longer than humanities subject paper. Most students feel that the CBSE is playing with their future, as a lot of the questions weren’t part of the NCERT syllabus. Rather they were too difficult to solve. Even one mark questions were trickier.

We feel that students are correct in pointing out the hypocrisy of the CBSE. While CBSE wants students to stop taking stress, it makes no sense for their decision to conduct difficult exam papers. We wish all students stop stressing. We also wish them all the best.
