CMAT Exam 2022: Common Management Admission Test is known as CMAT Exam. It is a national level exam conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency), and it acts as a gateway for MBA/PGDM admissions into 1000 B-Schools in India. Every year about 70,000 candidates appear for the examination. Candidates who wish to secure admission in MBA/PGDM courses in top B-Schools in India can appear in the CMAT 2022 exam.
CMAT exam score is accepted in top-tier B-schools of India like Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai and PUMBA, to name a few. Before filling out the application form, it is advisable for all aspiring students to thoroughly read the CMAT eligibility criteria described by the conducting body. It must be noted that the students’ candidature at any given point of time may get cancelled if found ineligible as per the eligibility criteria. As per the official notification, there is no reservation policy for the CMAT exam. But for admission in top-tier B-schools accepting the CMAT score, they follow the criteria prescribed by GOI. It must be noted that no application forms after the last date of submission will be entertained. The next step in the registration is filling up the application form. In this part, you have to fill in all the details like education qualification for class 10th, 12th, graduation, and you must also select test cities. Out of 109 cities, you will be required to choose any four exam centres you wish to take the test from, at your convenience and comfort.
You will be redirected to a page where you will have to upload the scanned images of your passport size photograph and signature.
After uploading the scanned images, you will be required to submit the CMAT application fee 2022. It must be noted that the mode of payment will be online only. You can pay the application fee using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. The application fee for CMAT is as follows:

After making the payment, you will be redirected to your complete CMAT 2022 application form. Go through all the information, and make sure the information added by you is correct. Make sure to download your application form and keep it safe with you until the admission process gets over.
NTA will conduct the CMAT exam in 183 exam centres in 109 cities. While filling out the application forms, the students will get the choice to select any four desired test centres of their choice. CMAT is an online exam to be conducted in computer-based mode. The exam will be conducted for a time duration of 180 minutes. There will be a total of 100 MCQs, carrying four marks each. It must be noted that there is a provision of negative marking in this exam, and one mark each will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Admit cards for CMAT Exam will be made available for download by NTA tentatively in the first week of January 2022. Candidates appearing for the exam will be able to download a CMAT hall ticket using their login ID and password. It must be noted that no candidate will be allowed to sit in the exam without their admit cards; the window to download admit cards will be open till the day of the exam. Also, make sure to carry a valid ID proof to the allotted test centre.

Also, NTA will set up various mock test centres to help aspiring students practice for the exam and get an idea about the pattern and syllabus of the exam. NTA has released the official answer keys for the CMAT exam on April 19, 2022. Candidates can download the CMAT Exam Answer Key from the official website of NTA. If candidates find any discrepancies in the official answer key, they can also challenge the answer key by paying Rs.1000 per question within the predetermined time. NTA will release the result for CMAT 2022 on the official website. By entering the login credentials you will be able to check your CMAT Result. Based on the scores secured by the candidates, a merit list will be prepared, and then based on the merit list, candidates will move towards the admission process. Along with the result, candidates will get their CMAT scorecard as well. The scorecard will mention the maximum marks obtained in each section by the candidate, and the total marks obtained.
Soon after the declaration of the CMAT result, the merit list will be released. CMAT Merit list will be made available for download on the official website of NTA. Along with the name, category, roll number, and rank secured by the candidate, the CMAT merit list will also include sectional marks obtained by the candidate.
The minimum marks to be scored by the candidates in order to be eligible for admissions into one of the participating institutions are the cut off marks. CMAT cut-off will be determined based on several factors and parameters. On the basis of the difficulty level of the questions, the number of seats available, and a number of applications the cut off will be decided.
