CUET Exam Analysis 2022: Phase 4 Day 1 Morning Shift (Ends)


BENGALURU, AUGUST 17: NTA authorities have successfully conducted the CUET Phase 4 exam day 1 shift 1 today, i.e. on August 17, 2022. The phase 4 exam will be conducted in 2 shifts on August 17, 18 and 20, 2022. The phase 4 exam is conducted for 3.72 lakh candidates in 259 cities across India and 9 cities outside the nation. In a few centres there were technical glitches and the slot 1 of phase 4 started at 11:00 A.M. instead of 9:00 A.M. The exam got completed at 2:15 P.M. instead of 12:15 P.M. The slot 1 exam was held from 9:00 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. Commerce candidates claimed that the paper was too lengthy. In comparison, Science students reported that the Physics paper was tougher than other papers. Candidates have responded about the difficulty level of the slot 1 phase 4 exam. CUET Exam Analysis 2022: Check Slot-wise Analysis

The CUET UG 2022 exam is one of the biggest entrance tests in India, with over 14,90,000 candidates participating in the exam. Around 2,49,000 candidates appeared in the first phase, 1,91,000 appeared for the second phase and 1,91,000 candidates appeared for third phase. The CUET phase 4 exams will be held for 3,72,000 candidates in various designated exam centres.

Certain candidates informed that most questions were from NCERT and they were able to answer it without any difficulty. Many candidates expressed the paper was moderate in the difficulty level.

The students’ reaction as per the exam difficulty level is given here below:

  • Priyanka Bhat: The English and Biology papers were easy whereas, Physics paper was lengthy. She said the overall difficulty of the CUET phase 4 slot 1 was moderate.
  • Kashish Chhabra: She appeared for B.Com (Hons) with Business Studies, Economics, General Knowledge and English. According to her the difficulty level of papers were moderate but lengthy. She felt that comprehension passages in English was lengthy.
  • Kashish Bansal: Appeared for Mathematics, language test, general test and Business Studies. She said, “Mathematics was bit difficult, 45 minutes was not sufficient for the type of questions asked. From the 50 questions, we had to attempt 40 but I could finish around 33-35 questions only. Other papers were quite easy, and I finished the paper 15 minutes before the time.”

In one of the exam centre, Due to technical glitches the slot 1 and 2 exams scheduled for August 17 are postponed to August 30 and 31, 2022. Check the official notification below.

Many candidates at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Pitampura claim that their exam centre was changed to Faridabad which they only realised after reaching the exam centre. In some centres, there was a server issue. But all those candidates will get a retest on August 30 and 31, 2022.
