English Language section is difficult because it comprises most of the questions from grammar. One of the most important topic from grammar is Pronoun and today we will be discussing everything related to it.
Grammar Rules of Pronoun
A pronoun (I, me, he, she, herself, you, it, that, they, each, few, many, who, whoever, whose, someone, everybody, etc.) is a word that takes the place of a noun. In the sentence Joe saw Jill, and he waved at her, the pronouns he and her take the place of Joe and Jill, respectively. There are three types of pronouns: subject (for example, he); object (him); or possessive (his).
Pronoun का use किसी Sentence में Noun की पुनरावृत्ति को रोकने के लिए किया जाता है या आप ये भी कह सकते हैं कि Pronoun को Noun के स्थान पर इस्तेमाल किया जाता है |
नीचे Pronoun के कुछ important types दिए हुए हैं –
चलिए अब जानते हैं Pronoun के कुछ Important Rules के बारे में –
Rule 1 :
आप ये तो जानते हैं की Pronoun को Noun के स्थान पर इस्तेमाल किया जाता है, परन्तु क्या कभी आपने सोचा है कि यदि एक sentence में singular और plural Noun दोनों आएं तो और इन दोनों के लिए एक ही Pronoun का इस्तेमाल करना हो तो यह किसके अनुरूप आएगा ?
तो याद रखिये कि इस situation में Pronoun को ‘of ‘ के बाद वाले Noun के अनुरूप इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा|
चलिए example से समझते हैं –
यहाँ दो Noun हैं Ram और Friends लेकिन Pronoun ‘their’ का Use ‘Friends’ के लिए किया गया है|
Rule 2:
अगर verb के बाद आनेवाला ऐसा object जिस पर क्रिया का effect पड़ता है, वह खुद Subject की तरह कार्य कर रहा हो तो Reflexive Prononun का use करते है|
For example : Sujata motivates herself to study hard.
यहाँ herself Reflexive Prononun है| क्यूंकि Sujata खुद को ही motivate कर रही है|

Rule 3:
यदि किसी sentence में first person ,second person और third person तीनो आते हो या इनमे से कोई दो आते हों तो Pronoun का order नीचे दिए गए order के अनुसार होगा –
Second person, Third person and First person
For example: You, she and I will go to temple tomorrow.
Rule 4:
यदि किसी sentence में first person, second person और third person तीनो आते हो या इनमे से कोई दो आते हों और उस sentence का अर्थ नकारात्मक हो तो तो Pronoun का order नीचे दिए गए order के अनुसार होगा–
First person, Second person, and Third person
For example: I, you and he have done that mistake.
Rule 5:
दो nominative case के बीच में comparison हो तो use वाला pronoun भी nominative होता है |
For example: She is better than I.
यहाँ ‘I’ nominative pronoun है|
Rule 6:
जब एक Noun और Pronoun के बीच में verb आता है तो Possessive Pronoun का use करते हैं|
For example: Yours is cold, mine is hot.

Rule 7:
Rule 8. यदि Relative Pronoun verb का Subject हो, तो verb Relative Pronoun के antecedent के number और person के अनुसार प्रयोग होती है |
For example: It is I who am your father.
यहाँ verb ‘am’ का use ‘I’ के अनुसार किया गया है|
Rule 8:
किसी clause या phrase को एक noun या pronoun से relate करने के लिए relative pronoun का use क्या जाता है |
For example:He is the person who teaches Sanskrit.
यहाँ ‘Who’ एक relative pronoun है |
Rule 9:
Who, Which, That के बाद आने वाला verb उसके ठीक पहले आने वाले noun या pronoun के अनुसार use होता है|
For example: All that glitters is not gold.
