How To Download GATE Admit Card 2020?
The GATE Admit Card is now available only in the online mode. It is to be noted that the GATE Hall Ticket/Admit Card will not be sent by post. Follow the steps as under for GATE Admit Card download 2020:
- 1st Step: Visit the official website of GOAPS (Link will be shared once activated)
- 2nd Step: Click on “Admit Card” under Quick Links.
- 3rd Step: Enter the required details like “Enrollment ID”, “Email ID”, Password”, and solve the “Captcha”.
- 4th Step: Click on the “Submit” button.
- 5th Step: Your GATE 2020 Admit Card will appear on the screen.

Forgot/Lost Enrollment ID

1st Step – Visit the official website of GATE Online Application Processing System (GOPAS) – https://appsgate.iitd.ac.in/
2nd Step – In the homepage, Click on the button “Forgot Enrollment Id or Password“.
3rd Step – Here 2 options will be displayed on the screen. Click on the options first option to get password. If you want to reset the password, click on the option 2.
- 1st Option – If you remember the Email Address/Enrollment ID but you have forgotten Password, click on “Request for an OTP” to get One Time Password via SMS/Email.
- 2nd Option – If you already have an OTP, click on “Already have an OTP?” to reset the password.
4th Step – Enter your Mobile Number/Email ID to reterive the password.
5th Step – You will receive an OTP to registered mobile number. Now enter the OTP in the required field. Your Password will be reseted.

Instructions To The Candidate Mentioned On GATE Admit Card 2020
The important instructions mentioned on GATE Admit Card are listed below:
- A printed copy of the GATE 2020 Admit Card should be shown for the verification along with one photo id proof.
- The GATE Admit Card will be considered as a valid one only if the photograph and signature are clear.
- Candidates must take a printout of the GATE 2020 Admit Card on an A4 size sheet with the help of a laser printer.
- GATE 2020 Admit Card should be printed with the help of a Color photo printer.
- Candidates are advised to locate their GATE 2020 Exam Center before the examination itself in order to reach the exam centre on time.
- Aspirants must reach the exam centre at least 1 hour before the commencement of the examination.
- Candidates will be permitted to appear for the GATE examination only after the verification is done.
- Aspirants should avoid any coating (ink, Mehandi, henna or tattoo) on their fingertips as the biometric system is used to capture the fingerprint.
- For numerical calculations, a virtual scientific calculator will be displayed on the screen and students can make use of it.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any communication devices.
- 20 minutes of time is allotted for reading the question paper.
- Candidates are not allowed to bring any charts, tables, and papers to the examination hall.
