GNDU Revaluation Process

If any student has failed to clear the semester-wise examination then they can apply for the revaluation of their result. The Candidates have to fill out the revaluation form and pay the fee in order to apply for the revaluation process. The revaluation result will be announced within 1 month.

Note that candidates have to apply for the revaluation within 18 days after the declaration of the GNDU Result. The revaluation fee is Rs 1,200 per subject and Rs 20 for the form. Candidates can apply for the revaluation of one or more subjects. Candidates can apply for revaluation for the annual exam, bi-annual exam, semester exam, and supplementary exam, except for the following:​

1. Exam in Faculty of Medical/ Dental/ Ayurveda.
2. Pratical and Viva Voce.
3. Semester where grading system is used.
4. Exams in which the answer sheets are marked by internal and external examiners.
5. Semester System examination at the University Campus, Amritsar, and Regional Campus at Jalandhar and Gurdaspur w.e.f. examination of December 2009.

Can a student withdraw his or her revaluation application form?

Yes, the revaluation application form can be withdrawn within 10 days from the date of applying. If the candidate wishes to withdraw, he/ she has to fill out and submit a separate application form. If you are late in applying for the withdrawal of the revaluation form, then the refund of the application fee will not be done.

How Will GNDU Revaluation Be Done?

Two separate examiners do the revaluation of the answer sheet for any subject. After the revaluation is done by the two examiners, the average of the nearest two will be considered (out of three marks including the original one). The university will share the final result (which can be favourable or unfavourable for the student) with the student who has applied for the revaluation.
