IB ACIO 2021: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released the IB ACIO Answer Key for Tier I exam on February 24, 2021. The candidates who have appeared for the Tier I exam on February 18, 19 & 20, 2021 can now check the answer key for the same. To check the answer key candidates need to enter their user id and password in the link provided below in this article. The candidates can also raise objection if they are not satisfied with the answer key till the 4th day after the release of answer key i.e till 28th February.

As the answer key for Tier I is out IB ACIO Result for Tier I is expected to release by March first week. Candidates shortlisted in the Tier I exam will be allowed to appear for Tier II exam and the candidates qualifying Tier II will be called for personal interview, which is the final step of selection process. IB ACIO Answer Key 2021

Candidates, who appeared in the exam for the recruitment of 2000 vacancies of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/ Executive, conducted on February 18, 19 and 20 can check and download the answer key through the official website- mha.gov.in. Candidates can download IB ACIO 2021 Answer Key Tier 1 exam using their credentials- User Id and Password.

Candidates who haven’t take IB ACIO Tier 1 cannot view questions & answers and can not submit objections.

How to Raise Objection in IB ACIO Answer Key 2021 Tier 1

  1. Candidates are advised to submit objections in the question papers & answer keys through the link given above only. The objections through any other mode/medium/channel will not be accepted by IB.

IB ACIO Eligibility Criteria 2021

Before applying for the post, candidates will have to check the IB ACIO 2021 eligibility criteria. Candidates must meet these eligibility criteria failing which will lead to the cancellation of the candidature. The various IB ACIO eligibility criteria 2021 are listed as follows:

Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian national.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is 27 years. Besides that, there is also provision for relaxation in the upper age limit of candidates as per the rules. Check the category wise relaxation in the upper age limit from the table below:

Besides that, there is also a provision of age relaxation for Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 and for children and dependents of victims of communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat as per the government instructions.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university on or before the closing date of application.

Other Eligibilities: Candidates need to have a working knowledge of computers. Candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped category (PWD Category) are not eligible for the posts.

 IB ACIO 2021 Apply Online: Prerequisites

In order to complete the IB ACIO apply online process, candidates need to be ready with the following:

  1. Valid Mobile Number and Email ID (which is to be kept active until the completion of the recruitment process)
  2. Scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature
  3. Valid credit/debit card or Net Banking account for online payment of application fee

How To Apply Online for IB ACIO Exam 2021?

The IB ACIO registration process is completely online. The IB ACIO application process consists of two major parts. Part-I include the filling up of personal, educational, and other details whereas Part-II consists of fee payment. Go through the step-by-step process to fill the IB ACIO application form.

  • 1st Step: Visit the official MHA’s website – mha.gov.in/
  • 2nd Step: Click on the link appearing on the home page in “What’s New” section.
  • 3rd Step: Candidate will first have to fill in the basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc. to obtain the application/ registration number and password for future login.
  • 4th Step: Log in using the registration number and password. Now start filling up the IB ACIO application form with personal details, educational details, choice of exam city, etc.
  • 5th Step: Upload the photograph and signature in a single file as per the prescribed format and size.
  • 6th Step: Preview the filled application form and recheck all the details. Also, check if the uploaded documents are correct and legible.
  • 7th Step: Save the details and click on the fee payment option. Choose either online mode (Debit/Credit/Net Banking) or Offline (Bank Challan) mode to pay the application fee (if applicable)
  • 8th Step: Retain the fee payment receipt and then take the print out of the filled application form for future reference.

Candidates need to be aware of the following important points for IB ACIO exam application form 2021:

  1. The scanned copy of the color passport size photograph and signature must be in the same jpg/jpeg format with a file size not exceeding 50kb.
  2. Candidates will have to be very careful while making a choice of the exam center. The examination center will not be changed in any circumstances once a choice has been made.
  3. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the registration slip. Note down the Application Number/Registration number once generated for future reference.
  4. Candidates are advised to submit only one application form. The submission of multiple applications may lead to the cancellation of the application altogether.
  5. Make sure that all the details are correct. Make sure that the uploaded files are clear and legible. Also, make sure that the candidate’s signature is done by the candidate itself.
  6. Candidates are not required to submit any hard copy of their application form.

  1. Click on the “SBI Collect” option and to choose the payment option such as Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card of any bank.
  2. Enter the registration number and other details. Check the fee amount and pay the application fee.
  3. Preserve the fee receipt for future reference.

IB ACIO Offline FEE Payment

  1. In this mode of fee payment, you must first download the SBI challan from the official website.
  2. Now, visit any SBI (State Bank of India) branch and pay the fee in cash.
  3. After a gap of one day, a counterfoil of this challan will be given back to the candidate by the bank indicating the transaction ID.
  4. Retain this document for future reference.

IB ACIO 2021 Salary & Job Profile

Salary: The IB ACIO In Hand Salary depends on the post and city where candidates are posted. The IB ACIO salary has been revised after 7th Pay Commission. ACIO II has been placed at Level 7 of the pay matrix. The officers are entitled to salary in the range of Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,000 along with the applicable allowances.

IB ACIO 2021 Selection Process

The first selection stage is the IB ACIO Tier I exam. The Tier I is an objective exam and candidates clearing the cutoff will be eligible to appear for the IB ACIO Tier-II exam. The IB ACIO Tier II exam is descriptive in nature.

Candidates meeting the Tier II cutoff will then be called for a Personal Interview. This will be followed by the release of the list of shortlisted candidates who will now have to go through the Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination.

IB ACIO written exam is conducted in two stages. The Tier – I exam will be Objective type and the Tier – II will be Descriptive type.

IB ACIO Syllabus 2021 – Tier II

IB ACIO Tier-II exam consists of two sections namely – Essay Writing and English Comprehension & Précis Writing

Essay Writing: Candidates will have to write essays which may be based on topics such as:

  1. Emerging Trends in India
  2. Cultural Diversity of India
  3. Security Threats, etc

English Comprehension & Précise Writing: In this section, the candidate’s English Comprehension will be tested.

IB ACIO 2021 Admit Card

IB ACIO Admit Card, city intimation for Tier 1 exam are available now for those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form. The IB ACIO hall ticket 2021 has been released through online mode and candidates will have to visit the official website to download the IB ACIO Admit Card/ Hall Ticket. The admit card is usually made available 10 days before the commencement of the exam.

Candidates will have to carry the hard copy of the admit card with valid ID proof to the examination centers on the exam day. The admit card will consist of various information such as the name of the applicant, gender, roll number, date of birth, photo, signature, name, address of the exam center, etc.

IB ACIO 2021 Result

The IB ACIO recruitment exam 2021 consists of three stages – Tier I exam, Tier II exam and Interview. After the completion of each stage of the exam, the IB ACIO result will be released on the official website. Candidates will have to visit the official website and download the result which will be released as PDF.

Then, candidates will have to look for their registration number in the PDF file to check whether or not they have cleared the exam. If the candidate’s registration number is mentioned in the result file then he/she is qualified for the next stage of the exam.

Candidates need to be aware of the following points:

  1. The eligibility of the candidate will not be verified during the application process. However, at later stages, if the candidates do not meet the eligibility then, he/ she will be disqualified leading to the cancellation of the candidature.
  2. Candidates will have to carry the hard copy of the ACIO exam admit card along with a valid ID proof to the exam center. Make sure that the photo and signature on the admit card are clear and legible.
