Salary: The pay scale of IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officer is Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-. Apart from the basic pay, there will also be special security allowance and other allowances based on the area of posting.
Job Profile: IB ACIO is a very unpredictable job with All India Service liability. The basic job roles involve the collection of secret information, Vigilance on Terrorist, dealing with any kind of crisis situation, keeping track of issues and intelligence collection in border areas.
IB ACIO 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university on or before the closing date of application.
Other Eligibilities: The candidates need to have knowledge of computer operation. Candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped category (PWD -Category) are not eligible for the posts.

- The scanned copy of colour passport size photograph and signature must be in the same jpg/jpeg format with a file size not exceeding 50kb.
- Candidates will have to be very careful while making a choice of the exam centre. The examination centre will not be changed in any circumstances once a choice has been made.
- Candidates are advised to take a printout of the registration slip. Note down the Application Number/ Registration number once generated for the future reference.
- Candidates are advised to submit only one application form. Submission of multiple applications may lead to cancellation of the application altogether.

- Click on the “SBI Collect” option and to choose the payment option such as Net Banking / Debit/ Credit Card of any bank.
- Enter the registration number and other details. Check the fee amount and pay the application fee.

IB ACIO Offline FEE Payment
- In this mode of fee payment, you must first download the SBI challan from the official website.
- Now, visit any SBI (State Bank of India) branch and pay the fee in cash.
- After a gap of one day, a counterfoil of this challan will be given back to the candidate by the bank indicating the transaction ID.

IB ACIO 2019 Exam Centres

IB ACIO exam is conducted in two stages. The Tier – I exam will be objective type and the Tier – II will be Descriptive type. Let’s have a look at both the exam patterns one by one.

The first selection stage is the IB ACIO Tier I exam. The Tier I is an objective exam and candidates clearing the cutoff will be qualifying for the IB ACIO Tier-II exam. Candidates clearing the Tier I exam will be will now be facing the IB ACIO Tier II exam which is descriptive in nature.
Candidates meeting the Tier II cutoff will then be called for a Personal Interview. This will be followed by the release of the list of shortlisted candidates who will now have to go through the Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination.

IB ACIO Syllabus 2019 – Paper II
IB ACIO Tier-II exam consists of two sections namely – Essay Writing and English comprehension & précis writing
Essay Writing: Candidates will have to write essays which can be based on topics such as:

- Security Threats, etc
English comprehension & précise writing: In this section, the candidate’s English Comprehension will be tested. It is expected that candidates will have to write about a topic or letter, etc.
IB ACIO 2019 Admit Card
Candidates who have successfully submitted the IB ACIO Application form will be issued the IB ACIO Admit Card. The IB ACIO admit card will be released through online mode and candidates will have to visit the official website to download the IB ACIO Admit Card/ Hall Ticket. The admit card is usually made available 10 days before the commencement of the exam. Candidates will have to carry the hard copy of the admit card with a valid ID proof to the examination centres on the exam day. The admit card will consist of various information such as the name of the applicant, gender, roll number, date of birth, photo, signature, name, address of the exam center, etc.

The initial stages of IB ACIO recruitment consist of Tier I exam, Tier II exam and Interview. Candidates need to be aware of the following points:
- The eligibility of the candidate will not be verified during the application process. However, at later stages, if the candidates do not meet the eligibility then, he/ she will be disqualified leading to the cancellation of the candidature.
- Candidates will have to carry the hard copy of the IB ACIO admit card along with a valid ID proof. Make sure that the photo and signature on the admit card is clear and legible
- Candidates will have to report to the centres as per the schedule and no candidate will be allowed to take the exam 30 minutes after its commencement.
