The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade exam is an objective-type examination of 2 hours duration. It is beneficial for candidates to know the question paper structure. The marking pattern of the IIFT exam has been drastically changed. Now there will be 110 questions, as provided in the table in the above section. Each question will have 3 marks for QA, VARC, and DILR sections. However, each question will have 1.5 marks for the GA/GK section. There will be a negative marking for each incorrect answer of 1/3 marks.
For example, if any question is incorrect in DILR, VARC, or QA, then 1/3 marks, i.e. 1 mark, will be deducted, and for the GK/GA section, 0.5 marks will be deducted.
