Agniveers, after they are posted in one of the IAF branches (regional offices), will also get the following :
An amount of 11.71 lakh shall be given to them Agniveers as a ‘Seva Nidhi’ package.
They shall be provided leaves for up to 30 days annually.
Around 25% of engineers will get the opportunity to become a part of the regular cadre of the Armed Forces.
The joiners will also be provided with a non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of 48 lakhs.
There will be the provision of an additional Ex-Gratia of 44 lakh for death attributable to the service. It shall be provided to the next to kin.
