Indian Navy Agniveer SSR 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before submitting an application for the Indian Navy Agniveer recruitment process, it is essential for applicants to go through the SSR Agniveer Eligibility Criteria. Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens in order to apply for the Indian Navy SSR Agniveer Recruitment 2023.

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 17.5 years old to apply for Agneepath Scheme Recruitment 2023, with a maximum age limit of 21 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who passed higher secondary or 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and at least one of Chemistry Biology or Computer Science from any recognised Boards of School Education will be eligible for the Agniveer SSR 2023 recruitment.

Marital Status

Candidates who are unmarried (male and female) are eligible for enrollment as Indian Navy Agniveer. They must sign an undertaking to not marry until the completion of their mandatory service period.

They may be dismissed from service if he/she marries during the initial phase or is found to be already married despite the undertaking.

Medical Standards

  • A final medical examination is conducted by authorised military doctors as per the medical standards prescribed in current regulations as applicable on entry.
  • Any candidate, if identified to possess predominant characteristics of the opposite gender on external physical examination, will be rejected as unfit for recruitment. Any candidate having done gender reassignment surgery will also be declared unfit for recruitment.
  • Any female candidate, if found to be pregnant, will be disqualified, and her candidature is rejected. A candidate should not have conceived even at the time of reporting and up until the conclusion of the initial mandatory service period. If found to be pregnant after recruitment, her candidature will be rejected, and she cannot proceed with the recruitment.
  • Minimum height for male candidates is 157 cm and that for female candidates is 152 cm.
  • Candidates must have a good physical and mental condition, and be free from any diseases or disabilities that may interfere with the performance of duties both under peace and war conditions.

Note: Candidates must get their ears cleaned for wax and tartar removed from their teeth before the medical examination.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR 2023 Application Fee

The candidate must pay the examination fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty Only) plus 18% GST during the online application process using net banking, Visa, Master, RuPay Credit, Debit Cards, or UPI.

Note: 

(a) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

(b) Candidates who register multiple times will be rejected and barred from taking the exam. Exam fee reimbursement would not be granted in such cases.

(c) If applicants paid the fees online and the money was deducted from their account without an admit card being generated (i.e. an unsuccessful payment), then wait for 7 working days for an automatic refund to the account.
