JEE Main 2022 June 23, Shift 1 Analysis, Student Reactions (Live)
Bengaluru, June 23, 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA), along with JEE Apex Board (JAB), has successfully conducted the JEE Main 2022 Paper 2A (B.Arch and B.Plan) in the first shift today, i.e., June 23, 2022. The JEE Main entrance test is being conducted in two shifts: shift 1 (from 9 AM to 12 PM) and shift 2 (3 PM to 6 PM). Over one lakh aspirants had appeared for JEE Main 2022 shift 1 for Paper 2A (B.Arch)/Paper 2B (B.Plan) exam. Read further to understand the difficulty level of the exam.
NTA has conducted JEE Main 2022 on June 23, 2022. The paper was conducted in the morning shift (Shift 1), which took place from 9 AM to 12PM.

Questions Asked in JEE Main 2022 Paper 2A (B.Arch):
Among all the questions that were based on the NCERT syllabus, the JEE Main Paper 2A also included the following questions.
What is the colour scheme of Burger King?
Draw a scene of the festival Holi? (Drawing Question)
The ratio question with 1:500 / 1cm is to 5 m.
Based on the students’ reactions, we have found out that questions from the 3D section were moderate in difficulty.
JEE Main 2022 June 23, Shift 1 Analysis
The overall question paper of JEE Main 2022 was based on 3 parts, i.e., Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing, and the exam was moderate in the difficulty level.
Mathematics: The difficulty level of this section was moderate to difficult and students’ feedback reported that questions were lengthy, and involved time-consuming calculations.
Aptitude: The Aptitude section of JEE Main 2022 Paper 2A was reviewed as ‘easy to moderate’ by the students. Most questions were about 3-Dimensional figures.
Drawing: This section was easy in the difficulty level. One question was asked about colouring the scene of the Holi festival, while another one was based on the colour scheme of Burger King’s logo.
Earlier, JEE Main was to be conducted from June 21; however, due to some unforeseen circumstances, NTA had decided to conduct the JEE Main 2022 Shift 1 and 2 on June 23, 2022. Also, the JEE Main session 1 will continue until June 29, 2022, at different timings, i.e., Shift 1 and Shift 2.
The exam was conducted for a total duration of three hours. Today, NTA has conducted JEE Main B.Arch/B.Plan (Paper 2A) in shift 1. NTA will also publish JEE Main answer key after a couple of days of the exam; however, private coaching institutes will release answer sheets on the same day.
Based on course type, the JEE Main exam pattern differs. For example, Paper 2A consisted of a total of 82 questions, and it was divided into three sections, as viz. Mathematics (Part I), Aptitude Test (Part II), Drawing Test (Part III), and Paper 2B included a total of 105 marks.
JEE Main 2022 Shift 1 June 23, 2022 exam has been conducted in the online mode, i.e., it was a Computer-based Test (CBT), except for the drawing test (part 3) was to be attempted on a drawing sheet of A4 size.
Those who are looking for the JEE Main June 23 paper analysis should know that JEE Main Shift 1 started at 9 AM and ended at 12 PM for all the students. An exception was made for physically disabled students, and their time duration for JEE exam was kept as 4 hours.
Students were informed about their exam centres through the JEE Main admit card and no request for change in the exam centre is entertained.
