JEECUP 2022: JEECUP 2022 result was released on July 18, 2022. JEECUP examination stands for Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. It is a state-level entrance examination where many candidates seek admission to various diploma courses in multiple educational fields. All the qualified candidates from this entrance examination will be considered in order to get admitted to various Govt. and Private Polytechnic Institutions across the state.

The JEECUP 2022 was conducted from June 27 to 30, 2022. JEECUP Application Form

Here is the complete set of details that all candidates need to know regarding the UP polytechnic application form 2022:

  • Eligibility criteria must be checked while filling up the application form.
  • Candidates must fill out the application form from February 15, 2022, onwards.
  • The online mode of application is only accepted.
  • The application form must be filled in with the instructions written on it.
  • The application form correction facility window was available from April 18 to 22, 2022.
  • Details filled by the candidates in the application form should be the same as it appears in the Class 10 mark sheet; any alteration in the details can cause rejection of the application form.
  • The last Date for application form submission was April 17, 2022.

JEECUP 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Before candidates start applying for the exam, it is important that they should go through the complete eligibility criteria set by the authorities to appear for JEECUP 2022:

1. Group A – Diploma in Engineering and Technology

Applicants applying for the Diploma in Engineering and Technology should pass class 10 with a minimum of 35% marks.

2. Group B – Agricultural Engineering

Applicants applying for Agricultural Engineering must pass class 10 with Agriculture as their subject and score a minimum of 35% marks or should clear class 12 with Agriculture as their subject.

3. Group C – Home Science, Fashion Design, and Textile Design and Engineering

Applicants applying for these programmes should pass class 10 with a minimum of 35% marks.

4. Group D – Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice

Applicants applying for this course should pass class 12 with English and Hindi as their subjects in classes 10 and 12.

Library & Information Science:

Applicants applying for this course should clear their class 12 examination.

5. Group E – Diploma in Pharmacy

Applicants applying for this course should have passed class 12 in science with a minimum of 50% marks. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualifying mark is 40%.

6. Group F – Post Graduate in Biotechnology

Applicants applying for this course should pass B.Sc in Biology, Biotechnology/Chemistry.

7. Group G – Post Graduate Diploma Courses

Applicants applying for this course should pass graduation in any stream.

8. Group H – Diploma in Hotel Management

Applicants applying for this course should pass class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualifying mark is 40%.

9. Group I – Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Applicants applying for this course should pass 10+2 with aggregate marks of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

10. Group J – Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology

Applicants applying for this course should pass Diploma in Engineering from BTE UP affiliated Institution.

11. Group K1 to K7 – Lateral Entry (Engineering & Technology Diploma Courses)

Applicants applying for these programs should pass class 12 or ITI.

How to Apply for UP Polytechnic JEECUP Admission Exam 2022?

Follow the steps below to apply for JEECUP 2022 exam. Please note that candidates have to take care of every step in the application process if they want to appear for the exam successfully.

  • 1st Step: Visit the official website of JEECUP at jeecup.nic.in
  • 2nd Step: Click on the link that reads “Online Application Form for Engineering and Technology Diploma- Group A” or “Online application form for Group B to K.”
  • 3rd Step: Click on the “Apply” link.
  • 4th Step: Now click on the “Click here to proceed” link.
  • 5th Step: Fill in your “Name”, “Parent’s name”, “Date of birth” etc.
  • 6th Step: Fill in your “Contact” details and “Address.”
  • 7th Step: Choose the password and enter the security pin.
  • 8th Step: Now, click on the “Final Submit” button.
  • 9th Step: Note down the application number generated.
  • 10th Step: Now, click on the “Complete application form” link.
  • 11th Step: Enter your “Educational” details and click on “Final submit.”
  • 12th Step: Now, click on “Upload Images” and upload your scanned photograph and signature.
  • 13th Step: Click on the “Submit” button.
  • 14th Step: Then, you have to click on “Pay examination fee” and proceed to payment.
  • 15th Step: Take a “Printout” of the application form for future reference.

JEECUP Application Fee 2022

Candidates applying for JEECUP 2022 examination can make their application fee payment through Debit cards/Credit cards/Net banking or e-challan. They need to submit the application fee at any branch of SBI through e-challan.

JEECUP 2022 Exam Pattern

Please note that JEECUP 2022 is conducted online. Here are some important points to be noted while looking at the paper pattern.

  1. The paper is objective (MCQ based) and has a time duration of 3 hours.
  2. The medium of language for the paper will be English and Hindi.
  3. For every incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of -1 mark.

JEECUP 2022 Admit Card

Applicants could download the JEECUP 2022 admit card online from the official website of JEECUP on June 20, 2022. Candidates can download the JEECUP admit card eight (8) days prior to the exam. The JEECUP hall ticket is made available only in online mode. The admit card is not sent by post or through the mail to the applicants. It is the duty of the applicants to download the admit card as soon as it gets released to avoid any last-minute snag.

JEECUP Examination 2022: Answer Key

The authorities released the JEECUP answer key on its official website by July 03, 2022. Please note that the officials release the provisional keys first. If a student intends to challenge an answer key, they have to submit a challan of Rs. 100 per question. Once they have gone through each of the challenges put forward by the candidates, they release the final answer key.

JEECUP 2022 Counselling

The JEECUP admission seats will be allocated on the basis of the marks obtained and the rank achieved in the exam. Here is the process followed for JEECUP counselling.

  • JEECUP counselling will be conducted in a total of three rounds for state-qualified candidates.
  • The qualified candidates should complete their counselling registration process if they want to appear for the admission process.
  • A candidate needs to pay a counselling fee of Rs. 250 through SBI MOPS.
  • After they are done with the fee payment, candidates will have to select choices of courses and colleges. Please note that there is no limit to choices for any candidate.
  • Applicants will be able to download their seat allotment results by filling in their Roll Number and Date of Birth.
  • If any college is allocated to a candidate, they have to submit a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 3000.
  • Once the aspirants have been allotted a seat, they will have to report to the official centre for verification of documents.
  • After the successful document verification process, candidates must visit the allocated institute for further admission.
