JIPMER 2021: Dates, Application Form, Admit Card, Pattern

JIPMER 2019 | Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has started receiving the JIPMER Registration forms from 6th March 2019.  The JIPMER Application form is available in online mode. The exam is conducted to select students for admission to MBBS course in the two campuses of JIPMER – Puducherry, and Karaikal. The last date to apply for JIPMER 2019 is 12th April 2019.

JIPMER 2019 has availability of 200 seats for MBBS – 150 seats in Puducherry campus and 50 seats in Karaikal campus. So, you can imagine how difficult it is going to be to get selected. JIPMER 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on 2nd June 2019 in 2 shifts – Morning and Afternoon. Candidates appearing for JIPMER 2019 must have a clear knowledge of the exam. JIPMER 2019 | JIPMER Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to appear for JIPMER 2019 should be aware of the JIPMER UG eligibility criteria:

  1. Educational Qualification: Students applying for JIPMER 2019 must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English Language as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate score. For ST/SC/OBC/OPH candidates, a minimum of 40% aggregate score is required. For General OPH category, the minimum score is 45%. Students appearing for Class 12 board exams in 2019 can also apply for the exam.
  2. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or Non-Resident Indians.
  3. Minimum Age Limit: Applicants should be of 17 years age on or before 31st December 2019. There is no age relaxation for any category.
  4. Maximum Age Limit: There is no maximum age limit for JIPMER 2019.

JIPMER 2019 Application Form: How To Apply For JIPMER 2019?

Follow the steps as under to apply for JIPMER 2019:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of JIPMER- jipmer.edu.in.
  • Step 2: Click on “Examination”.
  • Step 3: Click on “JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination 2019.”
  • Step 4: Click on “Apply Online for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination 2019”.
  • Step 5: Enter your basic details, like Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc.
  • Step 6: Click on “Register”.
  • Step 7: You will receive your “User ID” and ” Password” on your mobile number and email.
  • Step 8: Click on the link received on your registered email ID.
  • Step 9: Enter your User ID and Password and click on “Login”.
  • Step 10: Click on the “Edit” button on the top right corner of JIPMER 2019 application form.
  • Step 11: Enter other details like Personal Details, Exam Details, Category Details, Qualification Details, etc.
  • Step 12: Upload scanned copies of your Photograph and Signature.
  • Step 13: Make payment of JIPMER MBBS application fees.
  • Step 14: Check on “I Agree” option.
  • Step 15: Submit your application.
  • Step 16: Download the confirmation page and take printouts for future reference.

JIPMER 2019 Exam Pattern

JIPMER is a single staged exam which is conducted in online mode. The total time duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam is conducted in 2 shifts- Morning and Afternoon. JIPMER is conducted only in English medium. JIPMER 2019 Admit Card

JIPMER 2019 Hall Ticket will be made available for download on 20th May 2019 on the official website of JIPMER: jipmer.edu.in. The JIPMER 2019 admit card will not be sent via post or in person. JIPMER 2019 MBBS Admit Card will have the following details:

  • a. Name of the applicant
  • b. Date of birth
  • c. Photograph of the applicant
  • d. Signature of the applicant
  • e. Roll Number
  • f. Name and Address of JIPMER 2019 examination centre

Once the admit card is released, no request for any correction will be entertained.

Without the admit card, students will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Along with the JIPMER hall ticket, students are required to carry a valid photo ID proof to the centre as well.

JIPMER 2019 Result

JIPMER Result will be released tentatively on 7th June 2019. The result will be released on the official website of JIPMER. The marks obtained in JIPMER MBBS is known as Raw Score which is converted into Percentile Score in order to compile the merit list.
