Jnanabhumi Scholarship Andhra Pradesh – Post-Matric Schemes
Andhra Pradesh government hosts two post-matric scholarship schemes at the Jnanabhumi portal, i.e. Jagananna Vidya Deevana and Jagananna Vasathi Deevana. The eligibility criteria for receiving the post-matric scholarship award is similar; however, the scholarship awards vary for both the post-matric schemes at the Jnanabhumi portal. - Jagananna Vidya Deevana – Under this scholarship, awardees will get a complete reimbursement of the tuition fee (RTF). The full fee is credited to the respective college accounts on behalf of the candidate.
- Jagananna Vasathi Deevana – Under the scholarship scheme, awardees will get a maintenance fee to cover expenses during the course. Annual Financial assistance up to Rs. 20,000 is provided to the eligible candidates. The amount of scholarship is credited in the account of the mother/guardian of the student.
Jnanabhumi Post Matric Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria
Ineligible candidates get their candidature rejected in later stages of the selection process. Candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria before applying for the Jnanabhumi post-matric scholarship.
- Admission Requirement – Candidates pursuing ITI, diploma, degree or above level courses from government/aided/ private and affiliated state universities are eligible.
- Attendance Requirements – Students must attain an attendance requirement of 75% for the disbursal of the scholarship award
- Additional Requirement – Day scholar students, students in College Attached Hostels (CAH) and Department Attached Hostels (DAH) are eligible.
- Family Income – The annual family income of the candidate from all sources must not exceed Rs. 2,50,000
Following candidates will be marked ineligible for the post-matric scholarship schemes.
– Candidates studying in private universities or institutes deemed to be universities
– Candidates who are pursuing courses from distance level or correspondence

Jnanabhumi Scholarship Andhra Pradesh – Pre Matric Schemes
To minimise the dropout rates and to promote the participation of the SC/ ST/ disabled candidates in classes 5 to 10, the Andhra Pradesh government has launched the pre-matric scholarship scheme at the Jnanabhumi portal. The pre-matric scholarship provides financial assistance to the students of the government schools.
Jnanabhumi Pre Matric Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria
Ineligible applicants will get their candidature rejected in later stages of the scholarship selection process. Candidates need to satisfy the following eligibility conditions before they proceed to apply for the Jnanabhumi pre-matric scholarship.
- Community – Candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/disabled communities are eligible for the pre-matric scholarship.
- Family Income – Annual income of the candidate’s family must not exceed Rs. 2,00,000

Jnanabhumi Scholarship Andhra Pradesh – YSR Vidyonnathi Scheme
Andhra Pradesh government disburses as many as 65,000 awards under the YSR Vidyonnathi scheme. Candidates belonging to ST, SC, BC, EBC, Minority, Brahmin and Kapu communities are provided financial assistance to cover the coaching fee and the expenses related to the preparation of the Civil Services examination. Jnanabhumi portal of Andhra Pradesh hosts the application form for the YSR Vidyonnathi scheme. The candidates are selected for financial assistance based on their performance in the online exam.
Jnanabhumi Ambedkar Overseas Vidyanidhi Scheme
The Government of Andhra Pradesh administers Ambedkar Overseas Vidyanidhi for ST/SC/ BC/ EBC/ Kapu/ Brahmin/ Minority communities to study abroad. Awardees get financial assistance of up to Rs. 15 lakh. Candidates whose annual family income is below Rs. 6,00,000 from all sources are eligible for the Ambedkar Overseas Vidyanidhi.
