The application forms for the 3 and 5-year LLB and integrated LLB programmes, respectively, were released on July 27 and July 26, 2022. Kerala Law Entrance Examination or KLEE is a state-based law – entrance examination for candidates willing to pursue a career and take up Law for their higher studies. The application fee of the exam for 3 years and 5 years LLB programs is INR 685/- for general/ SEBC candidates and INR 345/- for SC/ ST candidates. KLEE Application Fee 2022

After filling the KLEE 2022 application form, the candidates need to pay the application fee. The candidates can pay the fee via two payment methods. They can choose to pay online or via e-challan. Candidates can use a credit card, debit card, or internet banking for online payment. Furthermore, the candidates need to print an e-challan if they want to pay in cash. They can pay the fee via e-challan at any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala.

Note:

  • On successful payment, the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab on the candidate’s home page turns green.
  • If the tab has not turned green, the payment has not succeeded, and the candidate may try for online payment afresh (in case of online payment) or immediately contact the concerned post office (in case of e-challan payment).
  • If the candidate’s account is debited for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be reverted to his/ her account within five working days.
  • The candidates must ensure to collect back the counter foil of the e-Challan from the post office official.
  • Furthermore, the candidate must ensure that the official has recorded the Transaction ID pertaining to the payment on the counter foil of the e-Challan. Also, check if the official put the office stamp and his/her initials at the designated places on the counterfoil.

Pre-Requisites for KLEE Application Form 2022

How to fill KLEE Application Form 2022?

The candidates can only fill out the application form for KLEE 2022 online. There is no other option available for the candidates to register for KLEE. There are five steps available for the online submission of the KLEE application form. Furthermore, it is mandatory for the candidates to complete all five steps involved in the online registration. The following are the detailed steps for filling online KLEE application form.

Step 1: Registration for KLEE 2022

  1. Visit the official website of KLEE, i.e., cee.kerala.gov.in.
  2. Search for the course you are applying for under the “Present Active Links” section and click on the link.
  3. On the next page, click on the “Registration” link.
  4. Then, enter the basic details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, password, etc.
  5. After submitting the details, the system will generate the candidate’s application number for further procedure.

Step 2: Fill Application Form for KLEE 2022

  1. First, login through the candidate’s login using your Application Number and Password.
  2. Now, enter basic details, communication details, academic details, reservation details, etc.
  3. Then, check the details once and click on the ‘Save and Finalize’ button.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

In the third step, candidates need to pay the application fee. They can pay the fee through any online method or in cash via e-challan. After the payment of the fee, the candidates need to inspect the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab in the login. If it’s green, then the payment is successful. If it’s not green, the candidate needs to make a fresh payment or immediately contact the post office in case of payment through e-challan.

Step 4: Upload Images and Certificates

In this step, candidates must upload their passport-size photographs, signatures, and certificates. Candidates need to upload scanned images of their latest photo, signature, and necessary certificates/ documents. The photograph should be coloured with a light colour background. The candidates need to do the signature with blue/ black ink. Furthermore, the photograph and signature must be in JPEG format. In the case of certificates, the scanned copy must be in PDF format.

Step 5: Print Acknowledgement Page

After uploading all the necessary certificates/ documents, the candidates can take a printout of the Acknowledgement Page. Candidates can download or print the completely filled KLEE application form via the “Print Acknowledgement Page” link. Furthermore, it is advisable that the candidates must keep a soft copy or printout of the Acknowledgement Page for future reference. What To Do in Case of Forgot Application Number?

The application number is essential to log in to fill out the KLEE application form or print the same. Therefore, candidates must save the application number. However, candidates can check the following steps in case they forget the application number.

  • 1st Step: Go to the official site at cee.kerala.gov.in. Then, click on the respective course link.

KLEE Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for KLEE before applying online for the exam. Meeting the eligibility criteria is an essential part of admission.   1. Integrated 5-Year LLB: The applicant should have completed 17 years of age. Furthermore, the upper age limit for admission will be subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
  2. 3-Year LLB: There is no lower age limit. However, the upper age limit for admission will be subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
  3. LLM: There is no upper age limit for admission.

Academic Qualifications:

  1. Integrated 5-Year LLB: Candidates should have passed the 10+2 exam or any equivalent examination recognized by the Central or State Government or Bar Council of India.
  2. 3-Year LLB: Candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline or equivalent recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.
  3. LLM: Candidates should have passed the LLB examination (5-year/3-year course).

Candidates who are appearing/appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the Kerala Law Entrance Examination 2022.

Minimum Marks Required:

  1. Integrated 5-Year and 3-Year LLB: Candidates must have at least 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. However, the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates need only 42% marks, and ST/ ST categories need only 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
  2. LLM: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in the LLB examination (5-year/3-year course). No rounding off of a percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted.

What After KLEE Application Form 2022?

After the KLEE application form ended, the officials released the admit card. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala releases the KLEE Hall Ticket online. Candidates who successfully submit the application form can download the admit card from the official website. Furthermore, they can download the hall ticket using the application number, date of birth, and password. The admit card is an important document for appearing for the exam.
