Mumbai University Result 2022: The Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), University of Mumbai, will release the result soon after the semester exam. Candidates who clear the exam will be going to the next semester. Candidates who fail or get fewer marks in the semester exams can apply for revaluation by paying a nominal fee within the specified time.

Students can apply for the revaluation if they are not happy with their marks. The authorities will activate the revaluation link after the announcement of the MUM Result.
Mumbai University holds the record a passing percentage of 70% range for BCom while the qualifying percentage is 65-70% range. But this time, we are expecting more than that. This could be due to the implementation of the online exam where only multiple-choice questions were asked.
According to UGC guidelines,
Mumbai University follows the Credit Based Evaluation Scheme for the examination. According to that, the students have the freedom to opt for the subject according to their interests. The total of the credits allocated to each subject must meet the minimum requirement for clearing the semester exams. The evaluation has been done in the two components such as Internal Exam Assessment and Semester end Assessment. The internal Assessment component carries 25% marks and the Semester end component carries a 75% score. The Internal Assessment is calculated through the viva, seminars, participation in activities, and class tests and the Semester End Components is a written exam of 2 and half hours. The applicants will have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks (semester end and internal) in terms of aggregate for each subject.
Mumbai University has a revaluation facility for the answer copies. The candidates can get the printout of their answer copies once the result has been declared by the University. Those candidates who are not satisfied with their Mumbai University 2022 results can apply for the revaluation of their answer copies. The revaluation form can be downloaded from the university’s official website or from the examination section of any campus or college.
