What is Special OJEE 2020?
Special OJEE is an exam conducted for aspirants who did not take JEE Main yet wishes to take admission in various Engineering colleges. The Special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination is conducted for admission to various seats remaining unoccupied after JEE (Main) counselling. Candidates who didn’t take JEE for admission in desired B.Tech course can still apply for Special OJEE and get a chance to grab a seat in preferred Engineering College.
OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2020
The OJEEB will release the minimum requirements for any candidate who wishes to take admission in B.Tech. Any applicant who fails to meet the minimum eligibility criteria, he/she shall not be permitted to take admission. Candidates are suggested to check the eligibility criteria before filling the registration form of OJEE.
- Candidates should have cleared 10+2 examination with Mathematics, and Physics as compulsory subjects with any one of these given subjects: Chemistry/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Electronics/ Computer/ Science/ Information Technology/ Geology/ Statistics
- Candidates should have passed every subject with at least 45% aggregate marks. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
Note: For Marine Engineering Course candidate has different eligibility criteria:
- Candidate should have cleared 12th with minimum 60% aggregate marks when Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
- Candidate should not be 20 years of age on the date of commencement of course.
