OPSC Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the OPSC Eligibility Criteria for various posts given below. It is mandatory for all the aspirants to fulfil the eligibility criteria else the conducting body will revoke the candidature on the spot:

OPSC Dental Surgeon Eligibility

  1. Candidates must be citizens of India
  2. The candidate must be of a good moral character, good mental condition and bodily health, good physique and active habits and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity so as not to impair the due discharge of duties.
  3. The aspirant must be able to read, write and speak Odia, and must have passed the Middle English School exam in Odia as a language subject; OR passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in the non-language subject; OR passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class- VII or above; OR passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the Department dealing with the matters.

OPSC Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) Eligibility

Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be between 21 Years to 37 Years (as of January 01, 2022)

Educational Qualification:

  1. The candidate must have possessed an MBBS degree from a Medical College or Institution recognized by the Medical Council Of India.
  2. The candidate must have possessed a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961.
  3. The candidate must have possessed the required conversion certificates recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of having degrees from Universities in Foreign Countries.

OPSC Ayurvedic Medical Officer Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or an equivalent degree from a university recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. Also, the aspirant must have registered himself/herself under the Odisha State Council of Ayurvedic Medicines.

OPSC Homeopathic Medical Officer Eligibility

Age: The candidate’s age must be in between 21 to 32 Years

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) or an equivalent degree from a university recognized by the Central Council of Homeopathy. OPSC Selection Process

Candidates have to clear all the stages under the OPSC Recruitment drive to secure their desired position in Odisha Public Service Commission. OPSC Admit Card

After the culmination of the registration and application process for OPSC Recruitment, the conducting body issues hall tickets for candidates, a few days before the actual exam date. Admit Card is a document, released by the authorities, which consists of various important details regarding the exam.

Candidates are advised to carry their hall tickets along with an original ID proof on the important day else they will not be allowed to give the exam. Candidates can also take a printout of their OPSC Admit Card and keep it in a folder along with other documents so that they do not forget when the time comes.

OPSC Answer Key

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) releases the answer key on its official website. Candidates can also access the OPSC Answer Key from the direct link which will be available here soon. The answer key allows aspirants to evaluate their tentative OPSC Results before the official declaration. The conducting body publishes the answer key a few after the examination in PDF form.

There can be chances when candidates don’t agree with the answers given in the OPSC Answer Key. In such a case, candidates can raise objections by attaching valid proof to stand firm for their solved answer. If the conducting body finds the suggestion accurate then the prescribed changes will be in the OPSC Final Answer Key.  After the release of the final answer key, the conducting body will not entertain any other suggestions.

OPSC 2022 Result

The conducting body releases the OPSC Result separately for each stage under the recruitment drive. OPSC Result 2022 will be available soon on the official website. Will will provide the direct link to access the result for each advertisement above. The final merit list will be based on the candidates’ performance in the OPSC Mains exam and Personality Test/Interview. Candidates are advised to carry the printout of their results while appearing for the next round along with the documents required for the same.

OPSC Recruitment: Personal Interview

Candidates who qualify the OPSC Mains exam will be called for the Personality Test/Interview by the officials at the designated centres. The OPSC personality test will be of 250 marks in which the officials judge the candidate’s mental calibre, intellectual qualities such as social traits and interest in current affairs, mental alertness, critical power of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, the balance of judgment, variety, and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion and leadership, intellectual and moral integrity, and more. Aspirants who clear the final round of the OPSC Recruitment 2022 process will be able to secure the position for which he/she has applied in a particular department.
