RRB NTPC 2022: Check Answer Key, CBT-2 Exam Dates

RRB NTPC 2022: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released the RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam dates for pay levels 5, 3 and 2 on May 13, 2022. The CBT-2 exam is scheduled from June 12, 2022, but the complete schedule is yet to be announced. On May 12, 2022, RRB opened the link for viewing question papers, responses and answer keys for RRB NTPC CBT-2 that was conducted for pay levels 4 and 6 on May 9 and 10, 2022.

The online CBT 2 exam was conducted for the hiring of 25,281 people for positions such as Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Traffic Assistant, and so on in various zones of the railway and production units. The RRB NTPC recruitment exam is divided into four stages: CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/ Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. What is RRB NTPC?

The Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories to recruit candidates who have passed class 12th or completed their graduation. Candidates qualifying in all the four stages of the selection procedure will be recruited to different posts notified under the RRB NTPC notification. Some of the posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories are – Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal and Production Units of Indian Railways.

Railway Recruitment Board NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2022

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the eligibility criteria for RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories along with the notification. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria in order to fill out the application form and avoid rejection at any later stage. The eligibility criteria will be based on the following requirements – Nationality, Age, and Educational Qualification.


The candidate must be a citizen of India or from Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India, before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African Countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zaire and Vietnam willing to settle permanently in India.

Age Limit 

  1. Candidates applying for Under Graduate Level posts must be between 18 to 30 years of age. 
  2. Those applying for Graduate level posts must be between 18 to 33 years of age.

Candidates who have passed class 12th or an undergraduate examination in any stream are eligible to apply for the exam. 

RRB NTPC Application Process 2022

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) releases the NTPC application form online mode on the official website. Before filling out the online application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria to avoid rejection. Also, they must keep the following documents ready themselves while filling in the application form – 

  1. Scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed size
  2. Marksheets of class 10th, 12th, and graduation
  3. Caste certificate (if required)
  4. Personal email ID and mobile number

RRB NTPC Admit Card 2022

As per the RRB NTPC notification, the board is expected to release the RRB NTPC CBT-2 admit card for pay levels 5,3, and 2 online tentatively on June 8, 2022. Only those candidates who have completed CBT 1 will be able to download CBT 2. The authorities will release the admit card separately for all four stages.

Candidates can download RRB NTPC admit card by using the required credentials in the login window till the date of the exam. The admit card will contain information about the exam venue, date and time of the exam, address of the exam centre, personal information of the candidate, candidate’s signature, and exam day instructions.

RRB NTPC Answer Key

The RRB released the RRB NTPC CBT-2 answer key for pay levels 4 and 6 on May 12, 2022, along with question paper and candidate responses. Candidates can check the answer key on the official website link that will be active till May 18, 2022. It is also possible to raise a challenge against the questions, options and answer key until May 18, 2022, with a fee of INR 50 per question.

RRB NTPC Result 2022

The RRB announced the NTPC Result for CBT 1 on March 30, 2022. The RRB NTPC Result was declared online, and candidates can check their results on the regional RRB website. The NTPC CBT 1 Result is available in PDF format and comprises the list of roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for CBT 2. RRB NTPC Cut-off 2022

The RRB will release the NTPC cut-off marks 2021 tentatively in September 2021 along with the result. The cut-off for CBT 1 will be released zone-wise, post-wise, and category-wise on the official website. Based on the cutoff of RRB NTPC for CBT 1, candidates will be selected 20 times more than the number of vacancies for CBT 2.
