For Assistant Manager Post

1. Age – This post does not have any lower age limit for the post, but the upper age limit is 40 years.
2. Educational Qualification – First Division in Bachelor’s Degree (Full Time) in any stream. (minimum 60% marks in any stream from any recognised University).
3. Work Experience – Candidates must have 3 years of experience in managing network of any reputed organisation with at least 1.5 years in any one of the following (as on 31.08.2021):
   1. Level-2 resource in an organisation in the business of providing Network Services, OR
   2. As TAC resource of an OEM (in the field of network security devices such as firewall, IPS etc.) OR
   3. Experience in managing network security for any organisation in BFSI sector.
4. Desired experience: Banking or IT sector.
5. Specific Skills:
   1. Should have expert level knowledge in IT Security, routing, switching protocol and networking devices.
   2. Should have Sound analytical and troubleshooting skills,
   3. Must have good team Management and co-ordination skills,
   4. Fluency in Hindi and English languages

1. Age – Candidates must fall between the age bar of 25 years to 40 years
2. Educational Qualification – Graduate candidates irrespective of the stream

For Data Trainer Post

1. Age – The State Bank of India hasn’t set any lower age limit for the post, the upper age limit for the post is 38 years
2. Educational Qualification – Candidates holding a B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or MCA from a recognised University/Institution are eligible.
3. Work Experience – Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years post basic qualification experience in the software industry related to Banking. Out of these 7 years, a minimum of 3 years of experience as Consultant Analytics is required by the candidate.

For Data Translator Post

1. Age – Candidates mustn’t be older than 40 years of age for the specified post
2. Educational Qualification – Candidates having a B.Tech in CS/IT or MCA from a recognized Institution/ University are eligible to apply.
3. Work Experience – Candidates must have at least 10 years’ post-basic qualification experience in the software industry related to Banking. Out of these 10 years, 3 years experience must be devoted as a Consultant Analytics.

For Senior Consultant Analyst Post

1. Age – Candidates must not cross the upper age of 45 years to apply for the post of Senior Consultant Analyst.
2. Educational Qualification – Candidates holding a B. Tech in CS/IT or MCA degree from a recognized university/institution are eligible to apply for the post.
3. Work Experience – Candidates must have at least 12 years of post-basic qualification experience in the software industry related to Banking. Out of the total work experience, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Analytics.

For Assistant General Manager Post

1. Age – Candidates should not cross the age of 45 years to apply for the post of Assistant General Manager.
2. Educational Qualification – Candidates must hold a B.E./ B.Tech / MCA degree from a recognized Institution in India.
3. Work Experience – Minimum work experience of 14 years in the IT field is required. Out of the 14 years of total experience, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in IT architectural functions at a Senior Executive Level position.

For Data Protection Officer Post

1. Age – A maximum age of 55 years is applicable for the post of Data Protection Officer
2. Educational qualification – Candidates completing graduation or equivalent are eligible for the post irrespective of the discipline.
3. Work Experience – Candidates must have a minimum work experience of 15 years as an Executive/ Supervisor in the Corporate Sector. Out of these 15 years, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the BFSI Sector. 

For Deputy Manager (Data Scientist) Post

1. Age – SBI has set the following upper and lower age limit for the post of Deputy Manager (Data Scientist)
   1. Lower Age – 24 years
   2. Upper Age – 32 years
2. Educational Qualification – Candidates must complete B.Tech/M.Tech in any of the following disciplines 
   1. Computer Science
   2. Information Technology
   3. Data Science
   4. Machine Learning and AI 
3. Work Experience – Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of overall work experience in a related field.

Candidates can apply for SBI SO 2022 in an online mode only. The State Bank of India does not provide any other mode to fill the SBI SO application form. SBI SO Selection Process

The State Bank of India hasn’t defined a common selection process for all the posts under the Specialist Officer category. Recruitment to most of the posts will be based on an interview. While recruitment to a few posts like Assistant Manager will be based on written examination. The basic selection process for major posts under the Specialist Officer is as follows.

1. Written Examination– Candidates fulfilling the SBI SO eligibility criteria shall be considered for the written examination. The State Bank of India conducts the Professional Knowledge Test to shortlist eligible candidates for the interview process. The exam pattern will consists of 80 questions for 100 marks. The time alloted for written test is 120 minutes and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
2. Interview – Candidates need to appear for the SBI SO interview to participate in the selection process. The interview round for major posts shall carry 100 marks. The State Bank of India will decide category wise qualifying marks. Candidates obtaining more than or equal to the qualifying marks shall be considered for recruitment.
3. Merit List – The State Bank of India shall prepare a merit list for selection in the descending order of scores obtained in the interview round. In case of a similar score in the interview, SBI will consider the age of the candidate to allot a merit position to the candidate.

SBI SO Call Letter 2022

The State Bank of India will issue the call letter for the written test from March 5, 2022, onwards. SBI will send the SBI SO call letter via email and will also be available on the official website. Bank will not send the hard copy of the SBI SO hall ticket (call letter) via post. SBI SO call letter will aid the entry process at the venue of the interview. Failing to carry the call letter will lead to denial in the entry to the exam centre. Thus, candidates need to download the SBI SO 2022 call letter before the last date. Additionally, candidates need to carry photo-bearing ID proof on the exam date.
