SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE have been released on their official website. The criteria are set by certain parameters including parameters like age, qualifying exam and nationality are given below. 

Nationality: Candidates must be residents of India, Non-residential Indians (NRIs) and PIO or OCI card holders that are issued by the Government of India.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognised state board, ICSE, ISCE, Matriculation, NIOS. Eligibility Criteria with Age limit

Candidates who are appearing for SRMJEE 2022 must be born between July 1, 2001, and July 1, 2006. They must at least have completed 16 years of age before, July 31, 2022. 

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admissions

The university offers direct admissions for the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for direct admission to SRM University. The below points for direct admissions will help candidates understand in a better way. 

• Candidates who have topped in JEE Main and JEE Advanced are eligible. 
• District-wise rank holders in Tamil Nadu are eligible.

The merit list for SRMJEEE will be announced after the results are declared. The calculation is on the basis of marks scored by the students as well as the number of candidates who appeared in the entrance examination.

SRMJEEE Counselling Process

SRMJEEE counselling 2022 will be conducted online mode on their official website. Candidates are required to pay the fees and complete the admission process for the seats allocated to them based on their marks. 

Candidates who are qualified for the examination and whose names appear on the merit list will be eligible to attend the counselling process. 

The step-wise counselling process for SRMJEEE 2022 is given below

• 1st Step: Candidates must visit the official website srmist.edu.in , and then go to the admission portal. 
• 2nd Step: Candidates will be able to download the rank card.
• 3rd Step: Fill in the educational details.
• 4th Step: The admission portal will be open from June 25-26, 2022, and candidates will be able to fill in their course preferences.
• 5th Step: The allotment of programmes will be declared on the online entrance portal. 
• 6th Step: Candidates should accept their allotment and pay the registration fees.
• 7th Step: Once the registration fees are paid, candidates will receive a provisional allotment letter along with a fee receipt. Also note, that the allocation will be cancelled if the fees are not paid within the stipulated time. 
• 8th Step: Candidates must clear the remaining fee before the deadline and complete the online application process.
