How to Download SSC JE Admit Card?

The SSC JE admit card is released through online mode. Follow the steps as under to download your SSC Junior Engineer Admit Card for Paper-II from the SSC official website:

  • 1st Step: Visit the official website of SSC: ssc.nic.in
  • 2nd Step: On the homepage, click on the “Admit Card” button.
  • 3rd Step: A new page opens, with the links for region-wise SSC websites. Click on the region-wise link.
  • 5th Step: Login with your ‘Registration ID/Roll No’ & ‘Date of Birth’.
  • 6th Step: SSC Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical, etc.) Admit Card for Tier 2 will appear on the screen. Check the details, download and take a few printouts for future reference.

Candidates should print at least 2 copies of the Admit Card as the board will not send the hard copy of the admit card to any candidate.

Documents Required With SSC Junior Engineer Admit Card

Along with the SSC Junior Engineer admit card, candidates must also carry a valid photo ID proof in original. The documents which can be produced as valid photo ID proof are as follows:

  1. Aadhaar Card/ Print out of e-Aadhaar
  2. Driving License
  3. PAN Card
  4. Voter’s ID Card
  5. Passport

  • The Photo ID must have the date of birth of the candidate mentioned on it.
  • If the photo ID doesn’t have the complete date of birth, then candidates will have to carry an additional original document having the date of birth printed on it. Class 10 Marksheet issued only by ICSE/ CBSE/ State Boards having the date of birth can be presented as proof for date of birth.
  • The date of birth of the candidate mentioned on the Photo ID must match with that mentioned on the admit card/application form. Otherwise, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Important Points About SSC Junior Engineer Admit Card

Here are a few important points to remember about SSC JE Call Letter.

  1. The officials will notify the candidate regarding the release of SSC JE Admit Card through registered email and mobile number.
  2. Once the SSC JE admit card is downloaded, candidates must affix the photo in the specified space.
  3. Candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof along with the SSC JE admit card or call letter.
  4. Candidates must note that the name of the candidate on the call letter (provided during the process of registration) should exactly match the name on the photo identity proof.
  5. In case the photo in the SSC JE Admit Card is blurred or not clear, then candidates will be required to provide two separate recent pictures which are clear.
  6. Candidates must sign on their admit card in front of the invigilator only.
  7. Candidates should carry all the required documents along with the admit card and submit them at the exam center for verification purpose only.
  8. Check the date, time, exam venue and other details on the admit card prior to the exam day. Report to the authority in case of any discrepancy or missing details.
  9. Candidate should carry ball point pen along with them.
  10. Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the examination center.
  11. Any request to change the exam centers will not be entertained once the final allotment of exam centers is done.

  13. Candidates are advised to not to laminate the admit card issued by the officials.
  14. Candidates who impersonate will be legally punished.
  15. It is mandatory for all the candidates to sit in the examination hall till the exam time completes even after finishing the paper early.

Important COVID-19 Guidelines

The central government released some important guidelines in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates will have to follow the given instructions under all the circumstances while appearing at the exam centre. Failure of the same will lead to revoking of the candidature on the spot.

  1. It is mandatory for all the candidates to have the installed latest version of the ‘Arogya Setu’ App on their mobile phone.
  2. The Aarogya Setu status must show the candidate’s risk factor.
  3. Candidates will have to display the AarogyaSetu status at the entry gate. Thereafter, candidates will be required to switch off their mobile phones and deposit it at the designated location, to be collected while exiting.
  4. Candidates must carry a hand sanitizer, gloves and face masks at the exam centre.
  5. Candidates’ face should be covered with protective masks.
  6. Candidates must make sure that they don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms. In case they do, their entry will be strictly prohibited on the spot.
  7. Also, candidates will have to maintain the social distancing norms at the examination centre.
