BENGALURU, JULY 16: According to the UGC NET June 2019 Result Analysis, a total of 60,457 candidates qualified for the National Eligibility Test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to officials, a total of 6,81,718 candidates appeared in the exam, which was held in computer-based mode between June 20 and 26, 2019.

Among the total test takers of UGC NET 2019, only 8.86% of candidates have qualified for the exam, which was held in 101 subjects for determining eligibility either for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Out of the total qualified candidates, 55,701 have only qualified for Assistant Professor and 4,756 for JRF & Assistant Professor. As compared to December 2018 exam session, the number of candidates who appeared was 6,81,930, out of which 44,001 were selected for Asst. Professor and 3,883 for JRF & Assistant Professor.
