UPSC IAS Prelims 2019 Result declared; Around 12000 qualified for UPSC CSE Mains

 BANGALORE, JULY 12: UPSC IAS Prelims 2019 Result has been declared by Union Public Service Commission. The result of UPSC Civil Services 2019 Prelims has been announced for the candidates who appeared in the exam held on June 2, 2019. The Commission has released a list of roll numbers in a PDF format for the candidates, who have declared qualified for the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam. According to UPSC IAS Prelims 2019 result, a total of 11836 candidates have qualified in the UPSC Prelims Exam which was taken by nearly 9 lakh candidates.

The candidates whose roll numbers appear in the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2019 result list will have to fill up the DAF (CSM) online and submit the same online for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019 to be held from Sunday, September 20, 2019.

“The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply a gain in the Detailed Application Form, DAF (CSM), for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019, which would be available on the website of the Union Public Service,” the UPSC statement said.

As the UPSC IAS Prelims 2019 Result has been declared, the candidates whose roll numbers appear in the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2019 result list have to fill up the DAF (CSM) online and submit the same online for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019 to be held from September 20, 2019.

“The candidature of these candidates is provisional. The UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2019 Application Form will be available on the website of the Commission between August 1 and 16, 2019 (Friday) till 6:00 pm.

The number of vacancies to be filled on the result of the UPSC CSE 2019 is 896. This reported number UPSC CSE 2019 is about 100 vacancies higher than last year. In 2018, there were only 782 Vacancies for CSE and 110 Vacancies for IFoS.
