How to Download UPSC IES Admit Card 2022?

Candidates can follow the below procedure in order to download the UPSC ESE e-admit card:

  1. Go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), i.e. upsc.gov.in, or Click here to download UPSC IES Hall Ticket 2022.
  2. Now under the ‘What’s New’ section, look for the UPSC IES 2022 Admit Card link, or you can follow the steps below.
  3. Click on the ‘Examination’ tab and select ‘Active Examination’.
  4. A new page will appear where you need to click on Engineering Services (I).
  5. Click on the ‘Click Here’ against the e-Admit Card.
  6. A new page will appear. Click on the “Click Here” under ‘To Download e-Admit Card’.
  7. Important Instructions regarding the ESE Admit card will be mentioned.
  8. Now choose how you would like to download the admit card, through Registration ID (RID) or Roll Number.

  2. Now click on the “Forgot RID? Click Here” link.
  3. Enter your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth.
  4. Enter the code and click on the “Submit button”.
  5. Your Registration ID (RID) will be displayed.

Here are some important guidelines that a candidate need to follow:

  1. Bring the UPSC ESE Admit Card as well as (original) Photo Identity Card. The Photo ID should have e-government issued admit cards—for example, an Aadhaar card, Driving license, Passport, Voter ID, etc.
  2. Kepp the UPSC ESE Prelims Admit Card safe until the whole selection process is over.
  3. Enter the Examination Hall at least 30 minutes before the exam. Entry to the exam hall will be closed before 10 minutes from the exam.
  4. Mobile Phones, Calculators, IT Gadgets, and any other Communication device such as Bluetooth are not allowed inside the exam hall. If this rule is violated, then the candidate will be barred from future exams.
  5. The candidate must answer only using the Black Ball Point Pen. If any other colour or type of pen is used, the answer sheet will not be evaluated.
  6. Do not bring any valuables or costly items and bags to the exam centre since the product’s safety cannot be assured. The Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
  7. Those candidates who do not have a clear photograph on the e-admit card must bring 2 passport size photos, one for each session.

Candidates will have to compulsorily carry the admit card and any original ID proof on the day of the exam. Without these, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The essential documents that must be carried to the examination centre are given below:
