|GDMO||Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956 ) and Registration as Medical Practitioner in the Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council provided that the candidates if selected and appointed must register their names in the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining the West Bengal Health Service|
|MO||MBBS degree included in the First Schedule OR Second Schedule OR Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) with a recognized and requisite Post Graduate Qualification in the respective Speciality and registration as Medical Practitioners in the Medical Council of India, OR any State Medical Council provided that the Candidate if appointed, must register his/her name in the West Bengal Medical Council within 6 months of joining the West Bengal Health Service.|

To get recruited as a Medical Officer a candidate must go through the following stages:

The written exam for the posts will only be conducted if the number of applications exceeds as per Health Recruitment Boards’ expectations. In that case, admit cards will be issued to all the candidates. Else the applicants will be shortlisted based on marks in the above two images and interview call letters will be issued to them.
WBHRB Result 2020
After the written exam + interview or interview round is conducted candidates will be shortlisted based on their work experiences, knowledge, and marks obtained in the interview and then a final list of candidates will be prepared consisting of the names of selected candidates.
