Candidates willing to appear for the Agniveer Vayu Non-Science Group exam must fulfil the below eligibility:

Age Limit

• The candidates must be born between December 26, 2002, and June 26, 2006 (both days inclusive).
• The upper age limit on the date of enrolment must be 21 years.

Educational Qualification 

Candidate must clear the Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
OR
Passed two years of vocational courses from Education Boards listed as COBSE members with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in the vocational course or Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Physical FitnessTest

The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will be based on a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 06 minutes and 30 seconds. Candidates must also complete 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats within the allotted time to clear the Physical Fitness Test.

Adaptability Tests 1 & 2

Adaptability Test- 1: All candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) shall appear for the Adaptability Test-1 (objective type written test) to assess a candidate’s suitability for employment in the IAF 

Adaptability Test- 2: Once candidates clear Adaptability test 1, they shall appear for test 2 as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test-II is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of the IAF and adjust to military life.

Air Force Mandatory Medical Test

General Medical Standards for Agniveer Vayu are as follows:

Chest	The minimum range of expansion is 5 cm
Weight	Proportionate to height and age.
Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK)	Not Acceptable
Hearing	The candidate should have normal hearing, i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
Dental	Must have healthy gums, good teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
General Health	The candidate should be of normal anatomy without losing any appendages. He should be from any active or latent, acute or chronic medical or surgical disability, infection, or skin ailments.  The candidate shall be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

Agniveer Vayu Non-Science Group Salary 2023

Qualified candidates will be paid Rs. 30,000 per month in the first year. Followed by Rs. 33,000 per month in the second year. In the third year, the monthly salary will be Rs. 36,500; in the fourth year, it will be Rs. 40,000 per month.
