According to CBSE class 12 board exams authority, candidates must receive a grade higher than E (i.e., at least 33 percent marks) in each of the five external examination subjects during the main examination or at the conclusion of the compartmental examination in order to be declared to have passed the test. The minimum passing score for each subject on the external examination is 33%. To pass a topic that requires practical work, a candidate must receive 33 percent on the theory portion and 33 percent on the practical portion separately, in addition to 33 percent on the overall portion.
