CBSE Class 12 Boards: An Overview 

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts class 12 and class 10 boards every year. Due to the COVID-19 situation, CBSE had decided to conduct the class 10 and class 12 exams in two terms. For the 2023 exams, the CBSE has declared that the term-by-term structure will be abandoned in favour of a once-a-year exam schedule.

Competency-based questions will make up at least 30% of all questions, whether they are multiple-choice, source-based integrated questions, case-based, or any other sort. Furthermore, objective-type questions will be weighted at 20%, with the remaining 50% made up of short or lengthy answer questions. CBSE Class 12 Passing Marks

According to the CBSE class 12 board exams authority, candidates must receive a grade higher than E (i.e., at least 33 percent marks) in each of the five external examination subjects during the main examination or at the conclusion of the compartmental examination in order to be declared to have passed the test.

The minimum passing score for each subject on the external examination is 33%. To pass a topic that requires practical work, a candidate must receive 33 percent on the theory portion and 33 percent on the practical portion separately, in addition to 33 percent on the overall portion.
