Preparation Tips for Biology Reduced Syllabus Class 12 CBSE Board Exam

We have provided a few tips for students to keep in mind during their Class 12 preparations for all the subjects:

  • Study at least 5 hours a day: Spend at least 5 hours a day for studying. Make it a habit. Subjects like Economics, Chemistry, Physics and Math require time and dedication. But also, try not to exhaust yourself in the process. Take short breaks in between.
  • Prioritise your chapters (difficulty-level wise): Prioritising the chapters difficulty-level wise will help candidates prepare quickly and effectively for your exam. Candidates should try to cover the difficult topics first and then move forward to the ones that they find easy. In this way, they will not miss out on any important topic and will also be able to cover the syllabus on time and revise each chapter.
  • Make a timetable: A study timetable will help them strategise their preparation for the examination. Making an effective study timetable and then following it with discipline is always helpful. This will keep them on track and away from stress.
  • Practice and learn: Candidates should practice exercises and learn the formulae for Statistics as much as they can. Only practice and the formulae will help them top their Economics examination. Candidates should keep a rough notebook and practice all of their questions in that notebook. Practising daily will help them hone their problem-solving skills quickly and effectively.
  • Read thoroughly: They must read all the chapters thoroughly to understand the concept well. Only after understanding the concept they will be secure good marks in the examination. So, candidates should always read and understand deeply before they memorise their lessons.
  • Understand before learning: Understanding and then learning will help candidates in the examinations, as it is the most basic yet important parameter of exam preparation. It will help them understand the topics well.
  • Revise every day: Candidates should make a habit of revising every day. This way, they will never forget any concept or formula. Each subject has different topics and concepts, so they need to learn and understand each of them very clearly. A daily revision is the key to that.
  • Make short notes: Making short notes of the important formulae and concepts will help candidates memorise better and quicker. Notes in a bullet-point format can be a great help when they have less time and a lot of topics to revise before the examination.
